Mayor Enstrom, Chief Ptak and Traatee Eiseomenger admire the new squad car.
Last week the Huntley Pdice Departmeat's Hew black aad white squad cara arrived. The squads were purchased through the State oflUiaoia.
Chief Ptak said ^t the new squad is a heavy duty car which is better equipped. He also said that these cars should require lesa maintinance and wUl stand up better for more yean.
SIDEWALK SALE DAY JULY 23RD
This year, Huntley's Sidewalk Sale will be held on Saturday. July 23rd. Booths wiQ be set up at the downtown stores aa well as at tbe Huntley Center, with nUny items on display at a reduced cost

i' As per the June 2, 1977 -eeting to bold a special beating on the planned use of Federal Revenue Sharing funds on this date, July 7th. 1977. it wU ao lield at 7:45 p.m. in ttie Board aoom of the ViUage HaU.
Those attending the special hearing were: President Enstrom. Trustee* Ftaak, Ackman, Stroupe, Eiaenmenger, Mqcer aad Ltdmei*. Also in attendance were Don Schwegel. the village engineer aad Mrs. Louise Kreutcet, repteaentAtive of the Senior Cttiaefla of the ViUage.

He advlaed tbe Board that there had been'two requests, one from the McHenry County Watorical Society tad one from the Setdot Qtbeeha Group of Huntley.
Attorney WUUam CaidweU then entered the hearing.
President Enstrom called on Mrs. Kreutzer. who preaented ' the budget for the "Walk-In Center*" for which funds were being requested. She alao gave in ; detaU the wortings of this new .venture.
Trustee Stroupe then made a motion, seconded by Tmstee Frank, to allocate the Revenue Sharing monies thuSly: PubUc Safety Salary: $12,000.00 Environmental: 4,000.00
PubUc Safety Equip: 4,750.00 QvUDefenae: 200.00
PubUc Safety Training: 300.00 Senior Citizen's Walk-In: 250.00
Trustee Ackman asked for dia- caaaion sUtiag that he felt the last item should be increased. He made a motion to amend the above motion to diange only the last item to $500.00, said motion seconded by Trustee Eisenmen¬ ger. A rdl caU noted the foUow¬ ing to this amendment: Stiottpe: nay, Ackman, aye: Lohneis, aye; Frank, nay; Mercer, aye and Eisenmenger, aye. Motion carried. The previoua question aa amended waa then asked and the roll noted aU trustee* voted aye and the motimi carried.
