INC., an Illinois Corporation, whose address Is 40 Brink Street, Crystal Lake, Illinois 60014, will file an application with the County Board of McHenry County, Illinois, for approval of the site location of a new sanitary landfill. The proposea site consists of approx¬ imately one hundred thirteen (113) acres located on the east side of Illinois Route 47, approximately two (2) miles north of the Village of Huntley, Illinois, commonly known as 8604 N. Route 47, Huntley, Illinois 60142. The legal description of the proposed site Is as follows: The South 34 acres of the North Half of the Northeast Quarter of Section 16, Township 43 North, Range 7 East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as follows: Beainning at the Southwest corner of the said North Half of the Nvtheast Quarter above mentioned; thence North along tr% said Quarter Section line, 34 rods; thence East 160 rods to the East line of said Section; thence South along the East line of said Section, 34 rods to the Southeast corner of said North Half of said Northeast Quarter; thence West along the South line of said North Half of said Northeast Quarter, 160 rods to the place of beginning; AND ALSO the South Half of the Nor¬ theast Quarter of said Section 16, all located in McHenry County, Illinois. The nature of the proposed development is the establishment of a sanitary landfill end Recycling Center.'The size of the proposed development is approximately one hundred thirteen (113) acres. The nature of the proposed activity is that the sanitary landfill will receive domestic, commercial, municipal and general refuse and such special wastes as are specifically permitted by the Illinois En¬ vironmental Protection Agency and any other governmental unit having jurisdiction over such matters. The propoMd sanltaryiand- fill would have a life expectancy of approximately twenty-five {25) years. No hazardous waste will be accepted. The site is presently owned by Mary Lee Conley, who has aranted an option to purdMse the site to the McHenry State Bank, as Trustee under a Trust Agreement dated July 18,1984, and known as Trust No. 3049. The sole beneficiary of said Land Trust Is McHenry County Landfill, Inc. The application for site approval will be submitted to ttte McHenry County Board on November 27th, 1984. After the applica¬ tion has been so filed, it will be available for public IrapecHon In tlie office of the Clerk of McHenry County, and copies of the ippllcallon may 1^ obtained from tf>e County Clerk upon payment of the actual costs of reproduction. » Any person may file a written comment with the McHenry Coun¬ ty Board concerning the appropriateness of the oroposed site for its intended purpose. The McHenry County Board, In making its final determination whether to approve the application for a new sanitary landfill, will consider any such comment received or postmarked from the date upon which the McHenry County Clerk dLcepts the dppiication through and until ten (10) days after the close of the hearing. Said written comments must be sent or delivered to the office of the McHenry County Clerk, 2200 North Seminary Avenue, Woodstock, lllinois»60098. Upon receipt, the Cierk will date stamp the comment. Such comments shall become a part of the record of proceedings of the McHenry County Regional Pollution Control Facility Committee.
