Here's your chance to see the famous show "Evito" at the Shubert Theatre in Chicago. A trip is being arranged by Betsey Warrington of the Huntley Park District. Tickets are for a Wednesday aftemoon matinee and will be on a first come basis. Dates are, 1st choice. Wed. HUNTLEY KIDS INVITED TO SHRINER'S CIRCUS
The Huntley Lions Gub is sponsoring Free tickets and trip to the Shriner's Circus in Woodstock on July 20th at 3:30. All Huntley children are invited to attend the circus. Watch for reservation details in next week's paper.
GARFIELD GOOSE COMING TO HUNTLEY
Hey kids! Here's your chance to meet his royal imperial majesty, Garfield Goose, pre¬ sendy 29 years old, who thinks he's Ung of the United Sutes. Garfield Goose, who has appeared on WGN-TV channel 9 with host, Frasier Thomas for 29 years, along with his creator will visit Huntley on Wednesday, July 29 from 2:00-3.00 p.m. Garfield will star in an all puppet musical variety show which will also feature a little magic. The show will be presented at Deicke Park. Following the show will be a brief workshop to show how Garfield and many other puppets are made and operated. PARK DISTRICT MEETINQ
The regular meeting of the Huntley Park District was called to order by President Borhart at 8 o'clock Wednesday. June 24, 1981. Present were Commis¬ sioners Borhart, Mercer, Welt¬ zien, Tures and Jurs. Also present were Attomey Cowlin. Larry Kahl and Betsey Warring¬ ton.
The ndnutes of the May 27th meeting were read. A motion to approve the minutes were made by Mr. Weltzien, seconded by Mr. Tures. Ali Commissioners voted aye and the motion carried.
The Treasurer's report was given. Mr. Tures moved to accept the report, aeoond by Mra. Mercer. All ayes and the motioncarried.

The Secretary was asked to publish the notice for sealed bids to be opened at 5 p.m. July 17, 1981 and reviewed at the regular meeting of the board on July 22. 1981.
Old business discussed in¬ cluded entrance work, fuel tanks, fence repair and painting, electrical work and drain tile from water fountain.
A motion to have Mr. Tures purchase fuel tanks and see to their installation was made by Mr. Borhari, second by Mr. Weltzien. All ayes and the motion carried.
The board approved the purchase of paint for the fence to be made by Mr. Jurs.
Larry Kahl gave his report including week spraying, paint¬ ing barrels and tables, chemi¬ cals, fertilizer and landscaping.
Betsey Warrington gave her report on the summer pro¬ grams. The Chicago baseball game has been rescheduled for August Sth with the Milwaukee Brewers. The board gave Betsey authority to purchase a record player for the aerobic classes.
Reservations far park facili¬ ties were presented. All were approved, except one from out of district.
The bills for the month were distributed. Mr. Tures moved to pay all bills, second by Wdt«len. All ayes; motion carried.
The board has replaced the two therapeutic swing chairs for the handicapped that were stolen.
Tbe board discuased the need for a truck for malntenanoe. A motioa to ask for aealed bida to purchase a used pidk-up tnuk was made by Mr.. Weltzien. Continued on Pa^ 2
