UONS CLUB PICNIC
A Polka Party was held In the Hldeway Lounge in the basement Bowl-Hi Lanes last Sanday, August 31st featuring Jerry Zeraha and his Happy Stars. In addition to the many Polish Polka and songs, the band played many traditional American numbers.
Mr. Zelinski recently remodeled the baaement of the bowling alley in a tropical theme. Every Friday and Saturday nights various bands play in Huntley's first nightclub. The Zelinski's plan to hold Polish Polka Parties once a month after the first of the year.

School Board Meeting
The regular meeting of the Board of Education of School District #1S8, Hundey Consolida¬ ted Schools, Hundey, DUnds, was held in the ifigh School Building on Jaly 28. 1977 at 7:30 P.ll.
Upon roll call the following answered present: Mrs. Living¬ ston, Mrs. Pawl, Mr. Pupich, .Mrs. Koppie, Mr. Brettschnei¬ der, and Mr. 2rk; Mr. Grismer - absent.
Mr. Dave Eitel was also present to explain the Johnson Control Proposal.
1. a motion by Mrs. Pawl, and ^|2nd by Mr. Brettschneider to glapprove the minutes of July 14,
1977 meeting. All members oted yea; no Nay votes, minutes pproved.
2. Mr. Brettschneider made a motion to Accept the Matinek &. Thurow Bid fbr Fada Repairs on the High School Building for $2,150.00. 2nd by Mrs. Pawl. Members all voting yea; no Nay votes, motion carried.
3. A motion by Mr. Pupich, 2nd by Mrs. Pawl to accept the Budget Proposals M presented. All members l«ltag.]wa; no Nay votes, motion aiMiiL 8:20 P.M.* Board went into Esecutive Session with Larry Kahl for the purpose of discus¬ sing why he was not chosen as Volley Ball Coach for Jr. High Girls.
Came out of Executive Session at 9:02 P.M.
4. A motion made by Mr. Pupich, 2nd by Mrs. Koppie, that the District will not incur the expense of football insurance for 1977 School year for participants in
^^1 football. Members all voted yea; L I no Nays, motion parried.
5. A motion to adopt pdicy which reads as such: All students must have obtained Insurance Cover¬ age, waa made ny Mr. Brettsch¬ neider and 2nd by Mrs. Pawl. All members voted yea, no Nay votes. Policy adopted.
6. A motion by Mr. 1 - and 2nd by Mr. Bretts .cr to purchase 2 Typewriters, 1 Sewing Machin, and 1 Spike-it. Mr. Pupich voted yea, Mr. Brettsch¬ neider voted yea, and Mr. Zirk voted yea. Mrs. Livingston, Mrs. Pawl, and Mrs. Koppie voted nay. Motion failed.
7. Mrs. Livingston made a motion to purchase 3 Typwriters, 2 Sewing Machines, and 1 Sfrike-it. Mr. Pupich 2nd the motion. Mrs. Livingston. Mr. Pupich, and Mr. Zirk voted yea. Mrs. Pawl. Mrs.
^ Koppie, and Mr. Brettschneider voted nay. Motion failed.
8. Mr. Pupich made a motion to purchase 2 Typewriters for the Typing class and I Sewing Ma¬ chine for the Home Econmic class, 2nd by Mr. Zirk. Members all voting yea. Motioncarried.
9. Mr. Pupich made a motion to stop discussion on Capital Outlay, 2nd Mr. Brettschneider. 3 Najrs. and 3 Yeas.
10:22 P.M.* Board went into Executive Session to discass Per¬ sonnel.
Board came out of Executive Seation at 10:29 P.M.
10. A motion to a<yoiim was made by Mrs. Uvingattn and 2nd by Mr> Zirfc. Motkm carried. Meet¬ ing adjourned.
