HOBOS GO ON SAFARI
Last Friday A Saturday, Mardi 5 A 6tn, Huntleyites were reared to a seferi thru the jungle with the Hobos. After a wonderfd meal of beef stew, mashed potatoes, sdad, bread, cupcakes and ice cream, the audience settled back to watch the antics begb.
Tarzan (Dde Anderson) had girl trouble as Jane (Ctady Sundeen) liked a handsome jungle man played by Kehh Gengler. Granny, of course, got bto the act trybg to wb Tarzan's affections, b the end, she triumped.
The group showed off their tdents not only by sbgbg but by playbg "Gtow Worm" on bottles. Durbg the btermissbn such gifts as a Potted IV and Cobras were given away.
The program was as foltows:
"Lbn Sleeps Tonight" sung by Hobos. "Can't take my Eyes off of You" sung by Dde Anderson. Cindy Sundeen sang "Pleaae release me" while Kehh Gengler sand "Knock 3 Tlmea". The Hobos presented "El Condo Pasa" while Kim Baran danced to h. Prudy Cole did her rendhwn of "I don't want to Play b your Tree". The Hobos went bananas as they talked to tiie treea. The March 3, 1983 Meetbg ofthe Village Board of Trustees was held b the Village Hdl Board Room and brought to order at 8:00 P.M. by President Enstrom.
Roll noted present: President Enstrom, Trustee Wicke, Mer¬ cer, Dhamer, Berib, Rudsbski and Brown, as well as members ofthe Public Works Department Actbg Police Chief Richard Rossi, Village Engbeer Schwegel and Village Attomey Szura.
The first order of busbess was the mbutes of the previous meetbg held February 3, 1983. There bebg no addittons nor oorrecttons, they stood approv¬ ed as presented.
The fbancid reports were reviewed. After said review, a motton was made by Trustee Mercer, seoonded by Trustee Rudsbski, fo approve the Treasurer's Report for February 1983 and upon roll cdl, dl trustees voted aye and the motton carried.
The bills for the current month were set before the Board. After a thorough study of same, a motton was made by Trustee Mercer seoonded by Trustee Dhamer, to approve the payment of said bills and upon roll cdl, dl trustees voted aye and the motton carried.

On Sunday, Mardi 27, 1983, Reverend Leo H. Ambre will celebrate the 40th Anniversary of His Ordbatton to the Holy Priesthood with a Concelebrated Mass of Thanksglvbg at St. Mary's Church b Huntley at 12 noon. The Reverend Leo H. Ambre, presently aasigned as Pastor of Sabt Mary Church, Huntiey, Dlbois was bom January 5,1917 b Aurora, Illinois. He attended St. Joaeph Grade School, Aurora and took preparatory studies for the priesthood at St. Frands Preparatory Sembary, Milwaukee, Wis. Phitosophicd and Theotogicd studies were begun at St. Mary Sembary, Bahbiore, Md. b September of 1937. On March 27, 1943, he received the sacrament of Holy Orders b St. James Pro-cathedral, Rockford from bishop John J. Boylan.
Sbce that time he has served as associate at St. Mary Church, Steribg from 1943 until 1954. Havbg served as Superintendent of St. Vbcent Home for Children and St. Joseph Home of the aged from 1954 until 1962, he was appobted Pastor of St. Margaret Mary, Algonqub, for two years. On August 8, 1964 he beoime pastor of St. lliomas Church, Crystd Lake. During his tenure there he completed the buildbg of a new church. On February 15,1980 he was bstdled as Pastor of St. maty Church, Huntley and on April 2, 1982 he was appobted Vicar for Fbance A Admbistration of the Dtocese of Rockford.
