Last Sunday the 8 & 40 McHenry County Salon #483 held their Installation at the Huntley Amencan Legion Home following a roast beef dinner. Florence Kennedy, outgoing LePetit Chapeau started the proceedings off by introducing the Installing Officer Elaine Murphy; Installing La Concierge Eileen Johnson; Installing Pianist Helen Lang and Installing L'Aumonier Marion Karlove. The new officers are:

Florence Kennedy received the Lc Petit Chapeau Passe Pin and several scrapbooks.
Le Petit Chapeau Arlene Mattingly addressed the gathering saying she was proud to be in office this year. Her first meeting will be Sept. 27th. Her husband, John, presented her with a dozen red roses. The Installation was adjourned. Continued on Page 6

MINUTES OF THE REGULAR
MEETING OF THE
VILLAGE BOARD OF
IRUSTEES
The Regular Meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held Thursday, August 5, 1982 in the Board Room ofthe Village Hall and brought to order by President Enstrom at 8:00 p.m.
Present were President En¬ strom, Trustees Berlin, Mercer, Brown, Wicke, Rudsinski, and Dhamer, as well as Village Attorney Szura, VillaGge En¬ gineer Schwegel and members of the Public Works Department and Chief of Police Ptak.
The first order of business was the presentation of the minutes of the July 1, 1982 meeting and there being no additions nor corrections, they stood approved as presented.
The financial reports were reviewed and Trustee Mercer made a motion to acept the Treasurer's report as presented and said motion was seconded by Trustee Wicke. Upon roll call, all trustees voted aye and the motion carried.
The bills for the current month .expenditures were set before the Trustees for their approval' and a motion was made by Trustee Wicke, seconded by Trustee Berlin, to
approve all invoices for payment with the exception of the J.T. Spradlin and Katolight invoices and also three in the police file which could be paid upon proper paper work being submitted with the invoices. Upon roll call, all trustees voted aye and the motion carried.
The President then read a recommendation submitted by the Zoning Board of Appeals in which they recommended that the Village Board approve a change in zoning for Dean Foods property located at 11713 Mill Street from R 1 to M 1 light industry, hearing being heard for same on July 21, 1982. Attomey for Dean Foods, Mr. H. Conick, came before the Board and advised that the Deed of Dedication was prepared and was before Mr. H. Dean for his signature and will be forwarded to the village within a few days. Trustee Mercer then made a motion to accept the Zoning Board of Appeals recommendation, se¬ conded by Trustee Brown. Roll noted the following: Berlin, aye; Brown, aye; Rudsinski, aye; Dhamer, aye; Wicke, aye; Mercer, aye; motion carried and the change was to be made.
Next, the President advised the Board that two applications had been received for package liquor licenses and that the tavern committee' had met. Trustee Brown recommended through the committee that there should be no moce licenses at this time, mainly due to the fact that there were no vacancies.
