REDSKINS PLAY WALNUT
i.asi rncUy, tne Kedskins traveled 100 miles to pUy top seated Walnut. Walnut was a tough opponent but • very clean playing, well mannered team. Previous to this game, Walnut had held their opponents to no scoring and beaten tbem by at least 30 pts. The Skins defeiuive line, was super, terrific, and stupendous. The offensive line did fairly well but let Quarterback Erath be sacked several times.
Following the game, the Walnut team treated the Redskms to refceshments.
In the 1st Quarter, Walnut took a 7-0 lead. Paul Drafall downed Perino at the SO. Walnut lost IS yds. on a penalty. Hansen stopped Perino at the 42. Pfaff & Erath held Von Holten to the 46. Livingston intercepted a pass at the Huntley 40 but it was ruled out

Earth took the kickoff at the 30 but Huntley could not gain any yardage.
Erath kicked o£f and Perino took the ball to the 48 wfaere Schweiger stopped him. Newton downed Carr at the 43. Erath stopped Perino at the Huntley 27. Hansen, in a super play, intercepted a pass at the 20. On a penalty Huntley went back to the IS. Hansen went to the 16. Schweiger, in a great play, picked up a fumble and made a Redskin TD. The extra pt. was no good.
Reynolds kicked off in the 9. Perino took the ball to the 40. Reynolds & Martin held Perino at the 43. Martin downed Carr at the 47. Newton tackled Kelly at the Huntley 49. Livingston held Von Holten at the 38. Walnut lost S yds. on a penalty.
Hansen stopped Quarterback Holaway at the 37. Newton downed VonHolten at the 27. Grechis and Newton aopped Kelly at the 23. Carlock &. Reynolds downed Carr at the 18. Livingston held Von Holten to the 16. Grechla downed quarterback Holaway at the 13. Reynolds & Barrett tackled Carr at the 13. Carr went to the 3. Eisenmenger and Reynolds held Carr to the 3.-Von Holten made a TD for a 13-6 score. Newton went to the 40. Erath was sacked at the 30. Tbe half ended.
In the nezt half, the Redskins defense held Walnut to no scoring. Stever took the kickoff to the 3L^where Grechis tackled him. Martin A. Renolds downed Von Holten at the 34. Blonden was tackled by Martin at the 36. Newton held Holaway to the 45. Continued on Page 11
