Penguins Christmas Party

The main event, Santa coming with his bag full of toys followed shortly thereafter to the delight of youngsters young and old. After Santa left for the North Pole, the club served a Pot-lucic dinner.
BURGLAR CAUGHT IN ACT
On November 29th at approximately 2 am, Huntley Police responded to 11603 Second St. on a burgulary in progress call.
Due to the fact that the mother had barricaded herself in a bedroom, Huntley Police, assisted by Dlinois State Police, were forced to gain entry through the front door. A search ofthe home led to the arrest of Gary R. Lutz of DuPage County.
Mr. Lutz was charged with residential burglary and is now being held on $20,000 cash bond in the McHenry County Jail.
Chief Rossi added, that Mr. Lutz was out on parole from a state penitentary at the time.
Park Board Park District Minutes
The regular meeting of the Huntley Park District was called to order at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 198.'. Present were: Commiss¬ ioners Jures, Mercer. Gumett and .lurs. Attomey Cowlin. LeRoy Wirsing. James Greve and Jim Ketchmark.
The minutes of the October 26 meeting were read. Mr. Gumett moved to approve the minutes, seconded by Mr. Jurs. All Commissioners voted aye and the motion carried.

Dr. James O'Laughlin announced this week that he has sold his Huntley Dental Practice to a group of dentists from the Elgin area. They are; Dr. Kenneth C. Bork. Dr. Douglas P. Bork. and Dr. Dean W. Lodding.
Dr. O'Laughlin has served the Huntley area for the past 13 years and has written a personal letter to the community, published elsewhere in this edition.
