VENTURA ASSOC. WINS APPEAL AGAINST VILLAGE
STATE BANK OF HUNTLEY OFFICALS GREET REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES
Ttie Appelate Court of the State of IlHnois, Second District, entered a judgement reversing and remanding the decision of the Circuit Court of McHenry County in the James and Janette Evans case against the Village of Huntley. The Evans operate Ventura Real Estate and Builders on Algonquin Road in an area zoned by the Village of Huntley R-3 (duplexes). Last year. Ventura sought to have the property rezoned B-1. UONS CLUB PANCAKE BREAKFAST A SUCCESS
The Huntley Lions Club served over 700 persons at their Annual Pancake Breakfast Sunday, Oct. 29, at the American Legion Home.
The drawing fot the prizes resulted: L. Martens of Elgin, Portable Television; Loma Heuser of Bensenville, clock radio; J. RcindJ of Elgin, Tiffany Lamp; George Wassertrass of Huntley, Crepe Maker; Kathy Swanson of Huntley, Roaster Oven; Lois Deicke of Wheaton, Barometer; Joe Ronman of Danville, Camera; Bea Brill of Huntley, Peeling Wand; Mike of Huntley, Hot Dogger. • Lion Ed Hartmann the chainnan of the event and President Dennis Rudsinski of the Huntley Lions Club want to thank all those who participated in this affair, and many thanks to the Lions and Lionesses who gave their services.
Approximately 4(X) pairs of used eyeglasses were collected at the affair. Thanks for a very successful day. We appreciate the donations of Dean's Milk Co., the Huntley Supermarket, The American Legion and Auxilairy. Heineman Hardware, Harry Isenhart, Parkside Tap. and all others.
