LEGION PUTS UP CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS
Santa's Fund is planning to have a roller skating party for all Jr.   High   and   High   School
students. Last year was well attended and believe all enjoyed it, so rather than having a dance, we will furnish 2 busses and rent the McHenry Roller Rink for Huntley students only. Skates will also be furnished free.
The following is the schedule; Dates Monday Dec. 18th Time Leaving! 5:45 P.M. Bos Leaves: Village Square Bus Retarna Village Sqnare i 10«30P.M.', Bos • Skates - Admiasion FREE
Parents welcome also.
Will have 1st come 1st serve basis for the two busses! Posters will be posted at the Jr. High and High School for sign up.

A little reminder for all those Penguin families. You should be getting a letter soon reguarding the Christmas Party. (If not contact Ruth Bond.) Now is the time for marking your calendar early! It's being held this year at the Huntley American Legion on December 17th, from three to six. Please make it!

ars. Several years ago Grandma Sunny Tessendorf used to read| "Twas the Night  Before  Christmas"  to all  the  children. Santa also usually made an appearam-e and all had a good time.
The Legion is decorated every year for the various club Christmas Parties such as the Legion, Lions and Penguins party every year.
PARK DISTRICT MINUTES
The regular meeting of the Huntley Park District was callet* to order at 8:00 P.M. or Wednesday, Nov. 22, 1976 Pl-esent were Commissioner Tures, Mackeben and Borhan and Attorney Cowlin. Commis¬ sioners Deicke and Ruth were absent.
The minutes of the October 25th meeting were read. Mr. Mackeben moved for approval, seconded by Mr. Tures. All Commissioners voted aye and the motion carried.
The Treasurer's report was read. Mr. Borhart moved ti accept the report, seconded b' Mr. Mackeben. All Commis sioners voted aye and thi motion carried.
The Annual Treasurer's R(. port for the fiscal year, 1977-'- was presented. A motion approve the report was made b Mr. Mackeben, seconded b Mr. Borhart. All Commission ers voted aye and the motid carried.
The annual audit from Leste Witte & Co. was distributed anti studied. Mr. Mackeben made ¦ motio.i to accept the audii seconded by Mr. Tures, A Commissioners voted aye am. the motion cajried.
The bills for the month were presented. Mr. Borhart made a motion to pay all bills, seconded by Mr. Mackeben. All Commis¬ sioners voted aye and thi motion carried.
The board acknowledged rt ceipt of a 510,000.00 bond fron The Edwin F. Deicke Founda tion. Mr. Deicke requests tha' the interest from this bond eacf year be used for the maintc nance of the park entrance. Th<. Secretary was asked to writi Mr. Deicke and thank him fo; his generosity.
The board discussed thi information from Attorne\ Henley conceming uie Marsh subdivision. They agreed to consider his proposal.
The need for a snowblower was discussed. Mr. Borhart made a motion that Mr. Tures purchase a snowblower, limit of $300.00, seconded by Mr Mackeben. All Commissioners voted .aye and the motion carried.
Mr.   Mackeben moved  f 'r adjournment, seconded by M' Tures.    The meeting was so adjourned at 9:40 P.M.

CONGREGATIONAL CHRISTMAS C0NCER1 DEC. 10th
The Chancel, Chapel, newly- formed children's and Handbell Choirs of the First Congrega-i tional Church will present their annual Christmas concert at 7:30 P.M. on December 10th.
Choir directors, William' Leggee, Larry Warringtott* Helen Mariowe. Shelby Hill, Prudy Cole and Robin Plane and organ accompanist Marge Marlowe, extend an invitation to the public to enjoy this highlight ofthe Christmas season.
