FIREMEN'S OPEN HOUSE
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11 School FootbaU Field
2:CKJto 4:00 p.m.
This year the Huntley Firemen will hold their annual Open House at the School FootbaU Field. The Fire Dept. will have all their equipment on display and firemen will be on hand to answer question and give information about vehicles.
Also planned for tbe day Is a Practice Evacuation. Ail Huntley residento ate asked to pUn escape routes and execute the evacuation when the siren goes off at 1:45 p.m. Inside this edition are some helpful tips to prepare for the evacuation.
The Firemen will also be buming an office trailer and then putting it out. Refreshments will be served and all are welcome.

The Huntley F-S played Richmond in an away game losing 20-6. The Skins gave it their all but Richmond had a winning combination in 12 & 21.
In the 1st quaver, Doyle passed to Connor at the 19. Manning took a loss of S yds. Manning threw to Jacobs who threw to Mesick for a TD and the lead.
Keams brough down 1 at the 45. Susong stopped 11 at tbe 44. Mesick held 21 at the 33. DeDina tackled 12 at tbe 31. Manning & Jacobs held 21 to the 27. Mercer stopped 21 at tbe 27. Jacobs in a super playi mtercepted a pass at tbe 33^ Mesick went to tbe 36.
Richmond took over. 81 was downed by Jacobs at tbe 8. Manning stopped 12 at the 4 and on tbe next play 12 made tbe TD. 88 caught a pass for a Rkhmond lead.

Richmond took over and Jacobs beld 23 to tbe 28. DeDina and Keama stopped 21 at Huntley 43. Connor beld 21 at tbe 36. DeDina stopped 12 at tbe 28. Connor beld 21 to tbe 24. DeDina and Mercer stopped 21 at tbe 23. Jacobs & Keams stopped 21 at tbe 15. Mercer intercepted a pass but becauae of a penalty Richmond retained the baU. DeDina beld 21 to tbe 20. Susong, Mercer and Keams beld 21 wbo got a TD on the nezt play fbr a 14-6 score.

MINUTES OF THE REGULAR
MEETING OF THE VILLAGE
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The October Ist. 1981 Regular Meeting of tbe Village Board of Trustees was beld in tbe Board Room of tbe Village Hall and brought to rader by President Enstrom at 8:00 p.m.
Those present were: Presi¬ dent Enstrom, Trustees Wicke, Dhamer, Mercer, Berlin and Brown with Trastee Rudsinaki being absent. Also attending were Village Engineer Schwegel and Attomey Szura, as well aa members of tbe Public Works Department.
Tbe minutes from ttae September 3, 1981 meeting were brought befcwe tbe Trustees fbr approval. Tbere being no additions nor correct¬ ions tbey stood q>proved as presented.
The Treasurer's Report was next to oome before tbe Board. After ttae Board had reviewed same, a motion was made by Trastee Mercer, seconded by Trastee Wicke, to approve same and upon roll call, all trustees voted aye and tbe motion carries.
President Enstiom read a letter written by Attomey Szura on behalf of the Village to Ricfaard Melahn' of Huntley Highlands Subdivision regard¬ ing an Agreement between tbe village and Mr. Mdabn. The Redskin Varaity played Richmond last Friday losing 18-0. The Redskin starting lineup was Barrett, Eratb, Grechis, Livingston, Martin, Newton, Reynolda, Schweiger, Stark, Hansen and Pfaff. Dave Hansen was hurt and was takea to tbe hospital. i
Huntley received tbe ball M the 33. Dale Erath was hurt but came back in tbe game later. Tbe Redskins fumbled the ball and Richmond recovered. Bar¬ rett downed 22. Pfaff.
