On Sat., Aug. 11 during Sidewalk Sale, Huntley Firiice Dept. and Huntiey Park District will be sponsorfaig a bicycle registration St Safety Ginic on 0>ral St. Partic^Mntw will register their bicylces with the police dept. and have a safety check on them. Upon oomirfe- tion of an obrtade course, participants will redeve a patdi, some reflectors, a rraiattatlon card and a safety certificate. Be sure and bring your Uke to the town square and get it register¬ ed in case of theft or loss!

Hnntley Police Stage Holdup
A mock holdup was staged by the Huntley Police Depart¬ ment this past week at the State Bank of Huntley. Members of the police department and bank employees participated in the mock holdup. Oiief Richard Rossi and Officer John Benson were in charge of the operation, whidi was organized to l>e as realistic as possible.
The purpose of tfae mock holdup was to educate the bank's employees and mana¬ gers in procedures to follow stwuld an actual holdup occur and to coordinate the efforts of tfae bank's officials and tfae police department.
A tew weeks before the bank employees viewed a film on bai^ faoldups tfaat was present¬ ed by the Huntley Police Deparment.
Ooie Undaey was asked to video tape tfae mock faoldop so certain pncedurea oould be viewed for use fai future training.
