Deborah Perrin Graduates
Deborah Perrin was one of 271 graduates who took part in Baccalaureate and Commence¬ ment ceremonies at Taylor University Saturday, May 24.
Parents of the graduate are Mr. and Mrs. Frank M. Perrin, 27 Barko Parkway, Huntley, IL.
The Reverend Charles R. "Chuck" Swindell, evangelical Christian author, was guest speaker for the graduation exercises. Swindoll has written 20 books, including "Strength¬ ening Your Grip, Strike the Oringinal Match, Improving Your Serve, and Three Steps Forward, Two Steps Back." In addition, his ministry is shared through 22 booklets, an extensive cassette tape distribu¬ tion, and a 30-minute daily radio broadcast, "Insight for Living," which is aired more than 800 times each day woridwide.
Taylor University is an interdenominationa]. Christian liberal arts college located in Upland, Indiana. The 139-year- old institution serves over 1,425 students.

Himtley Memorabelia Wanted For Town Picnic
There will be a Huntley Memorabelia Display at the Huntley Town Picnic on Sunday, June 29 in Deicke Park. If you have ansrthing that you feel would be of interest, please contact Louise Kreutzer at 669-5657 or Betsey Warrington at 669-3180. We are particularly interested in locating 1951 Centennial books since there seems to be very few left in the area. Be sure and come to the picnic to view the disfriay and join in the festivities. McHenry Orarch To Receive Plaque
Sunday, June 22nd, at 2:00 pm, the Historic Sites Commit¬ tee of the McHenry County Historical Society will award historic plaque #26 to The First United Methodist Church locat¬ ed at 3717 West Main Street in McHenry, Illinois.
The Church was built in 1859 at a cost of $400.00 on land donated by Mr. & Mrs. George Gage. The men of the community donated their time to its construction.
The original church building has undergone many changes and improvements in the past 129 years. The plaqueing will site the original location of the church.
The members of The First United Methodist Church, and the McHenry County Historical Society, extend a warm invitation to the public to attend the June 22nd 2:00 pm plaqueing ceremony and to view the present church. The 2:00 pm ceremonies will precede another special ceremony at the church.
