OFFICERS INSTALLED
Last Saturday evening, August 16, the American Legion and- Auxiliary Unit of Huntley Post 67 3 held the joint installation of new officers for 1986-87.
Mabel Schultz of Huntley, installed isew president, Josephine Czonstka for the Auxiliary and Joe Lewis of Marengo was the installing officer for new commander, David Oldham.
Josephine and David are both taking on the high responsibilities for the first time and plan to learn together to keep the newly decorated post on the upswing. They are Both looking forward to
a good year.
Pictured above are some of the newly installed Auxiliary Officers: L to R, Arlene Mattingly, Carol Weirich, Betty Zirk, Gail Wasserstrass, Joan Melahn and Delores Graham. Not pictured' are Dorothy Schaller and President Josephine Czonstka. Legion officers; Commander David Oldham, Stanley Czonstka, Jim Weirich, Don Enstrom, Richard Enstrom, Robert Zirk and Don Hardy.

School Board Minutes
The regular meeting of the Board of Educa¬ tion of School District #158, Huntley Consoli¬ dated Schools, Huntley, Illinois was held in y the High School build¬ ing on July 23, 1986 at 7:30 p.m.
The meeting was call¬ ed to order by the President at 7:40 p.m. Upon roll call the fol¬ lowing members answered present: Mrs. McDonald, Mr. Heavey, Mr. Greve, Mr. Miller. Absent:
Mrs. Schadt, Mr. Free¬ berg, and Mr. Bauman. All present joined in the pledge to the flag.
1. Mr. Greve moved, Mr. Miller 2nd to approve the minutes of the June 19 regular meeting as amended. 4 yeas - 0 nays - motion carried.
2. Mrs McDonald moved, Mr. Miller 2nd to approve the minutes of the June 19 executive session as written. 4 yeas - 0 nays - motion carried.
3. Mr. Heavey moved, Mr. Greve 2nd to ap¬ prove payment of the monthly agenda of bills and imprest. Education - $80,146.25; Imprest - $1239.09; OBM - $34,601 .69; Transportation $13,773.29; Bond & Interest - $156.42. Yeas: Heavey, Greve, McDonald, Miller. Nays: None. 4 yeas - 0 nays - motion carried.
4. Mr. Miller moved, Mrs. McDonald 2nd to approve the following activity fund trans¬ fers; $642.92 from #110 to #308; $100.00 from #110 to #319; $400.67 from #407 to 304; and drop #407. Yeas: Mil¬ ler, McDonald, Heavey, Greve. Nays: None. 4 yeas - 0 nays - motion carried. ¦
5. Mrs. McDonald moved, Mr. Miller 2nd to ap¬ prove the resignation of Sara Schnadt. Yeas: McDonald, Miller, Hea¬ vey, Greve. Nays: None. 4 yeas - 0 nays motion carried.
Mr. Bauman entered the meeting at 8:03 p.m.
6. Mr. Miller moved, Mr. Heavey 2nd to ap¬ prove the employment of Janice Kirkel, G.S. Principal; Pamela Kraus, Special Educa¬ tion; Monica Wood, Bus Driver; Sue Lazenby, Special Education Aide; Beverly Sweeney, K. Aide; Sharon Albrecht, Spec. Ed. Aide. Yeas: Miller, Heavey, Mc Donald, Greve, Bauman. Nays: None. 5 yeas - 0 nays - motion carried.
7. Mr. Greve moved, Mr. Heavey 2nd to approve tJie extra curricular assignments for 1986/ 87. Yeas: Greve, Hea¬ vey, McDonald, Miller, Bauman. Nays: None. 5 yeas - 0 nays - motion carried.
8. Mr. Bauman moved, Mr. Heavey 2nd to approve the regular
gasoline bid from Mc¬ Henry FS for the period August 1., 1986 to June 30, 1987, Yeas: Bauman, Heavey, Miller, Greve. Nays: McDonald. 4 yeas - 1 nay - motion car¬ ried.
9. Mrs McDonald moved, Mr. Heavey 2nd to ac¬ cept the bid of CT. Veach to provide snow removal services for the 1986/87 school year. Yeas: McDonald, Heavey, Miller, Bauman. Nays: None. Pass: Greve. 4 yeas - 0 nays

10. Mr. Miller moved, Mr. Greve 2nd to accept the bid from Cary Dairy for 1/2 pint cartons of white milk. Yeas: Miller, Greve, McDon¬ ald, Heavey, Bauman. Nays: None. 5 yeas - 0 nays - motion carried.
11. Mr. Greve moved, Mrs. McDonald 2nd to approve .15 as the milk price for the 1/2 pint carton for 1986/87 school year. 5 yeas - 0 nays - motion carried.
12. Mr. Heavey moved, Mrs. McDonald 2nd to approve increases in cafeteria prices for 1986/87. 0 yeas - 5 nays - motion defeated.
13. Mr. Greve moved, Mrs. McDonald 2nd to continue cafeteria prices for 1986/87 the same as 1985/86 prices. 5 yeas - 0 nays motion carried.
14. Mr. Bauman moved, Mr. Greve 2nd to ap¬
prove the application and resolution for
Charter Membership into the Athletic Particip¬ ation Pool for Liabil¬ ity in Education (A.P.P.L.E.). Yeas:i Bauman, Greve, McDon¬ ald, Heavy, Miller. Nays: None. 5 yeas - 0 nays - motion carried. 15. Mr. Greve moved,

16. Mr. Heavey moved, Mr. Greve 2nd to go into executive session at 11:20 p.m. for the purpose of discussing personnel. Yeas: Heavey, Greve, McDon¬ ald, Miller, Bauman. Nays: None. 5 yeas - 0 nays - motion carried.
17. Mr. Greve moved, Mr. Heavey 2nd to re¬ turn to open session at 12:25 a.m. 5 yeas - 0 nays - motion carried.
18. Mr. Heavey moved, Mr. Miller 2nd to approve the administra¬ tors salaries for 198 6/ 87. Yeas: Heavey, Mil¬ ler, McDonald Greve, Bauman. Nays: None. 5 yeas - 0 nays - motion carried.
19. Mrs. McDonald moved, Mr. Miller 2nd to adjourn at 12:31 a.m. 5 yeas - 0 nays - meeting adjourned.
