SWING CHOIR TO PERFORM IN HUNTLEY

HUNTLEY POUCE SPEAK TO SENIORS
Climax the Independence Day Celebration by attending the Bartlesville Ok. Youth Choir show at the Huntley Grade School Gym at 8:00 p.m. on July Sth, Monday evening. They have a long program which will consist of show tunes, popular music and jazz. Come and bring your friends for a good time. There is no admission charge.
The Bartlesville Show Choir will be staying in private homes July 1st through July 5tb. Local programs that they will perfbrm are as follows: Marengo on JiiSy 4th at 12:00 noon Huntley on July Sth at 8:00 pm at Huntley Grade School
VENN NAMED SOLDIER OF THE QUARTER
Officers of the Police Departntent were guests of the Huntley Senior Citizens Club on Friday, June 2Sth. Officers Alessi, Winkler, Gough and Chief Ptak presented Seniors with examples of how "con" artists prey on the elderly. A Rim was shown on how to prevent robbery of your home and how to protect ones self on the street. A display of illegal paraphernalia and drugs showed the problems that police face everyday. A mock armed robbery surprised the victim and others present, Office Gough entered the building, "robbed" the victim and disappeared so quick that no one was able to describe him in any way. The Seniors present agreed it was one of the most important and informative programs ever

Sp4 Venn is the granddaughter of Robert & Ruby Rehberg of Huntley. For the Rchberg's 27th Wedding Anniversary, Sp. Venn requested that a flag be flown over the Capitol Building and sent to the Rehbergs.
