Pictured above is a scene taken at last Sunday's Boy Scout Pancake Breakfast at approximately 11 am. Less than 70 people attended the Scout's Annual Event. In years past between 3 and 4 hundred people have attended this affair. A visitor from out of town exclaimed "Where are all
the people?'"'Where are all the mcmis and dads, the grandmas and grandpas, the aunts and uncles and the people from Huntley?" "Don't they cate about the Scouting Program and the young people of this town?" The photographer who took these pictures did not have the answers.
Mother's Day Banquet
Cheen aod tears through the years - a fashion show o< unusual and unique hats will be given at die Flnt Congregation¬ al Church Social Hall on May 12th at 6:30 by Judith Porter and Carol Donahue.
Skits, music, readings and dancing wiO portray die history women played in the develop¬ ment of McHenty Coanty. Dinner tickets ate available firom Don Hatdy, Carl Hill, Herb Eggen and Henty Marlowe. All ladies and lassies ate invited to attend.
Senior Citizen's To Meet At St. Mary's
Huntley Senior Qtizens will hold theit next montfaly meeting on Thursday, May 24th at the St Mary's Chotch Sodal Hall. The day and place for the meeting is changed for this month only. The usual pot-ltt(± will begin at 12 noon. All Seniors in tfae Huntley area ate Invited to attend. Please bring a ' dish to pass and your own table service. (Bachelors may make a contribstion instead of bringing a dish to pass). Dessert will be fntnished by our hosts. Enter¬ tainment wU be furnished in die afteraoon.
