HUNTLEY FAIR WINNERS
The David Birch family of Hinckley purchased the Junior Show Grand Champion Market lamb at the 4-H and FFA Livestock auction at the McHenry County Fair last Saturday. The meeting is set for 7:30 p.m. All members wbo have not tumed in receipts for tickets and chicken are aaked to do so before that time. Lion Dennis Rudsinski has the list of members who received tickets and chicken, so please contact him. We will order off the Menu and purchase our own meal. TEACHERS TO BE HEARD BY BOARD
Following the regular School Board meeting. President Liv¬ ingston gave ati opportunity for teachers and Huntley residents to speak concerning the person¬ nel changes in the grade school. About 40 people attended.
Lorraine Lid, President of the H.E.A., was first to speak on the issue, the H.E.A. had presented a letter to the Board earlier in the meeting. She reviewed the letter saying that the teachers had not been given professional curtesy by the Administration because the teachers had not been infdrmed ofthe change until July and had had no hand in the dedsion. VILLAGE BOARD MEETING
The August 2nd, 1979 Regu¬ lar Meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held in the Board Room of the Village Hall and was brought to order by the President at 8:00 p.m.
Present were: President En¬ strom, Trustees Wicke. Mercer, Dhamer. Rudsinski and Stroupe Also attending were Attomey Caldwell and ViUage Engineer Schwegel. Absent: Trastee Frank.
The minutes for the Jwty acn Regular Meeting were bcoaghiit before the Trustees and there being no additions nor correct¬ ions, they stood approved. The Special Meeting of July 24th, 1979 were then brought before
the Board and there also beinp no additions nor corrections they stood approved.
The Treasurer's Report thei was presented. A motion was made by Trustee Stroupe, seconded by Trustee Mercer, that noting the new format and appearing complete, recom¬ mended that it be approved. Upon roll caU, all trustees voted aye and the motion carried.
The new management report being prepared by the office secretary, Evelyn Ptak, was reviewed. Trustee Stroupe sug¬ gested that the "Current Col¬ umn for Approval" is not needed by the Board members.
