Thank You Blood Donors
In spHe of people being gone on vacation and in spite of the heat. 59 people with 6 rcjectk>ns, donated blood on July 26. Thus, S3 units of life giving blood were given to help other human beings.
Blood Bank Chairman, May Chesak, wishes to thank the blood donors and would be blood donors, Huntley Farmside for all publicity, all the places where posters were .placed, the three churches for publicizing the blood drive, the First Congregationa] Chutch fbr the use of the social hall and facilities, members of the American Legion AuxUiary who helped in various ways, Mr. King of Ben Hansford's for the use of the sign and Robbie who so willingly took care of the sign, to Bamey and Amie who again were helpers, and to any others who were helpers in someway.

Meeting
The regular meeting of the Huntley Pait District was called to order by President Tures at 9 PM on Wedneaday. July 27. 1%3. Present were Commiss¬ ioners Tures. Mercw, Wehzien, Gumett and Jurs; Larry Kahl, Leroy Wirsing, Betaey Warring¬ ton. Attomey Cowlin and a reporter from the Huntley Republican News.
The minntes ofthe June 6 and June 22 meetings were read. Mrs. Mercer made a motioti to approve the June 6 minutes, second by Mr. Tures. All Commitadonen voted aye tad the motion carried. Mr. Weltzien moved to apptove die June Xi minutes, seconded by - CtmtitoUted. oa- ftwe 2
The Huniley Lioness held their July meeting at the American Legion on Jnly 20. at 7:30. The meeting opened with May Chesak at the piano leading the group in singing, "Home on the Range." The pledge was said. Minutes of the May general meeting and the -June installatton banqued were read and approved.
