Santa's Fund is having the Christmas Party for all Huntley kids from preschool thru Sth grade as follows: DATE; Saturday. December 16 TIME: 12:30 P.M. PLACE: Village Square - Then to Social Hall. First Congrega¬ tional Church for refreshments ^"d .Santa's visit.
I he Snow Princess & Prince will be crowned at Village bkjuare and lead the parade
around tho Square. Then we will go to the Social Hall for Santa's visit and refreshments and watch the Sunshine Puppet Theater.
Be sure to come, as we think you will really like the puppet show.
Santa and his helpers will have little presents for all who come to see him,

Santa's Fund is again having the contest for Snow Princess & Prince this year. Those eligible are boys and girls ages 4 yrs, thru 7 yrs. old.
Ballot boxes for sign up are placed in local business. Sign your child's name as many times as you wish. Deadline for contest is Dec. ISth. Friday,
The winners will reign over the Christmas Party Dec. 16th, Saturday and will share the day with Santa,
They will be capped and crowned at the Village Square after Santa arrives! Then take a ride with Santa around the Square! Don't miss out on this contest ifyou have a child ages 4 thru 7 yrs. old!
SENIOR CITIZEN CHRISTMAS PARTY
Santa's Fund will be having the Senior Citizens Christmas Party - Friday - December ISth at Social Hall, First Congrega¬ tional Church at 12:30 P.M.
We will again have a delicious dinner, games and prizes and also Santa's visit. Reminder, this party is open to all Huntley Senior Citizens. You do not
have to belong to the club to come. It is open to all. Just bring yourself and all the rest is furnished. You will enjoy yourself. Mark your calendar!
Club members notify Louise Kreutzer and all others call Nancy Grimes 669-5892 or Dorothy Schaller 669-5010, so that we can plan accordingly. We want a big turn out!
Again this year the Huniley Farmside Newspaper and the Huntley Merchants will be giving away a trip for two to Pheasant Run. "The lucky couple will dine at either Smuggler's Cove or the Bakers Wife on Friday night. Saturday nite the winners will be guests at the Dinner Theatre. Breakfast will be included in the prize for Saturday and Sunday morning.
In the lovely setting of Pheasant Run guests browse in the many shops down a cobblestone street or swim in their heated indoor poo' or use their play room.
The second prize is a 12 inch RCA Sportable black & white TV from V&V Electronics. This TV is the newest AC/DC TV from RCA. It offers a 2-way operation and can be powered by either AC house current or 12 volt cigarette lighter. Plug in lighter power cord included as well as 3" round speaker. This lovely looking TV has a walnut finish on durable plastic.
The third prize is a $S gift certificate from each ofthe merchants.
The drawing will be held on Saturday, December 23rd.

Amusement Park Deotf
Nelson Schwab 111 trom Taft Broadcasting announced today that their property in Huntley is for sale. Taft. Broadcasting Co. in Cin¬ cinnati, Ohio, has approxi¬ mately 1,000 acres parcel of land which it and various partners own near Huntley, to be offered for sale.
The land was acquired during 1973-74. Taft had originally planned to use the land for a major theme amusement park. In an¬ nouncing the offer of land, it was said. "All plans for the parlt development have been abandoned,"
Company officials cited its reasons for the decision not to use the property for its in¬ tended purpose as: 1st is other opportunities for the company which have become priority and 2nd the existence of another major theme park in the area has ntmde their original plans impractical. Scribner & Co, of Chicago will handle all negotiations regarding the disposition of ihe land.
Village Board
Report
The December 7th 1978 regular meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held in the Board Koora of the Village Hall and brought to order by President Enstrom at 8:00 P.M
Those present were: President Enstrom, Trustees Mercer, Eisenmengpr, Stroupe and Lohneis, as ^t\\ as the Chairmen of the Planning and Zoning Com missions and Village Engineer Schwegel, Absent were Trustee Frank. Trustee Ackman and Attorney Caldwell.
The Minutes of fhe Novenber 2, 1978 meeting were brought before the Board for approval and there being no additions no corrections, they stood ap¬ proved.
The finance reports wre the next order of business Trustee Stroupe tnade a motion that the treasurer's report be approved subject to clarification between in¬ dividual accounts as discussed with the Gerk, who was to advise the Treasurer regarding same. Said motion was seconded by Trustee Eisenmenger and upon roll call, all trustees voted aye and motion carried.
The bills were then discussed and a motion was made by Trustee Mercer, seconded by Trustee Stroupe, that payment be made of all bills presented with fhe ex- Continued
