MEMORIAL DAY IN HUNTLEY
HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION
The traditional Memorial Day Parade was started by the Fire Department and Police Department with their sirens blaring. The Legionaires Sc Auxiliary presented the flags in mardiing order along came the Lions and Lioness Clubs. Dignitaries were driven down Main St. in a motorcade.
The Huntley High School Marching Band appeared in their new uniforms. As always the Huntley Scouta • Boy. Cnb. Brownies, Sc Girl, marched the parade route to tbe cemetery.

The regular meeting of thei Huntley Park District was called j to order at 8 p.m. oni Wednesday. May 25. 1983 byj President Tures. Present werel Commissioners Tures, Mercer, f Weltzien, Jurs, and Gumett. Also in attendance were! Attorney Cowlin, Larry Kahl, LeRoy Wirsing, Betsey War-' rington, Hoppy Kahl, Dan Ziller, Mr. & Mrs. Dobrolinsky and Mr. & Mrs, Lindsey.
The minutes of the April 27 meeting were read. A motion to approve the minutes was made by Mr. Weltzien, seconded by Mr. Gumett. All ayes and the motion carried.
The Treasurer's Report was given. Mr. Weltzien moved to accept the report, seoonded by Mr. Gumett. All Ayes and the motion carried.
Mr. Lindsey reported on the recreation booth for the Athletic Committee of local organiza¬ tions. After a discuasion, their representatives left the meet¬ ing- Mr. Weltilen moved to try ovt Contlnned on Page 2
The Huntley Jaycees will hold their Annual Sandbox Fill on Sunday, June Sth starting at 10:00a.m. till?
