SCHOOL ELECTION RETURNS
BLOOD BANK APRIL 18
Huntley's Legion .Auxiliary will be sponsoring its Sth annual blood drive on Tuesday, April 18th from 1 to 7 p.m. Mrs. Neva Robertshaw, blood bank chairman announced.
The Aurora Blood Bank Mobile Unit will be in Huntley to accept and draw blood from volunteer donors. The blood will then be processed through the bank and sent to local participating hospitals on a daily consignment. Both Sherman and St. Josephs Hospitals are now participating affiliates with the Aurora Blood Bank.
Now that the geese have flown over Huntley, going north for the summer, we can have your Easter Egg Hunt. Did you see them?
The following is the Egg Hunt Plans:
Date: Saturday. April 15th Time: 1:30 pm Place - Village Square __
For all pre schoolers thru kindergarten
All meet behind the Lutheran Church parking lot. Then parade to the Village Square for the Egg Hunt.
Following the Egg Hunt at the Village Square will be the Easter . Egg Hunt at Deicke Park for ali 11 st graders thru Sth grade.
Gates to the park will be closed until Egg Hunt is over at the ViHage Square.
Al 1st graders thru Sth graders meet a the baseball diamond on the south end until it is time for the hunt at Deicke Park.
Decorated Egg Contest will be for all ages thru 6th grade. Get your ideas working and win a prize for your egg or menagerie.
Himtley Day May 7th
The McHenry County Museum at the old Union Grade School will re-open its doors for the 1978 season by honoring the Village of Huntley. The aftemoon program will start at 1:30 and will feature local people.
The museum has something to interest everyone. There are exhibits of quilts, small farm machinery, a complete school room, old doctor and dentist
supplies, a very large music room and thousands of McHenry County articles from the Mayflower to today.
Special acknowledgement will be given each city of the county this year by the museum. Huntley will be the first to be recognized so lets make this the best program. If you cate tc participate or assist in Huntley Day. call Pat Williams or Henr; Marlowe.

CHARLIE BROWN COMES TO HUNTLEY
For the past three weeks several members of the vocal department have been busy rehearsing for the musical 'Charlie Brown'.
This musical is a take-off of the comic strip Charlie Brown, and it will be presented to the public May Sth & 6th in the Huntley Grade School Gym. Showtime is 8:00 and tickets are S2.00 for adults and $1.00 for children under 12.
Charlie Brown is played by Steve Morrow, Lucy is played by Barb Reynolds, and Joe McCune portrays Snoopy.
It will be a evening you will never forget so put it on your calendars now and watch for more information to follow.
The vocal department is also ha having programs printed and for $25. you can take a full page ad, SIS. for a half-page and SIO. for a third. If you are a parent or friend, etc. you can become a patron for the vocal music program and for SS. can have your name printed in our program. If you are interested in placing an ad or becoming a patron or need tickets, just call 669-5500. '

VILLAGE BOARD MINUTES
The Village Board of Trustees met for their regular meeting on April 6, 1978 in the Board Room of the Village Hall and was called to order by the President at 8:00 P.M.
The following were preseni: President Enstrom, Trustee Stroupe, Eisenmenger, Ackman Mercer and Lohneis; absent. Trustee Frank. Also attending were Attomey Caldwell, Villagv Engineer Schwegel, Public Works Superintendant Swanson Marvin Radloff, Building Ins pector and the Chairmen of the Planning and Zoning Commis¬ sions.
The minutes of the March 2, 1978 meeting were presented and approved as presented.
The Treasurer's Report an'- flnancial reports ofthe auditin: firm were then reviewed. Trustee Stroupe made a motion to accept the Treasurers Report as presented, seconded by Trustee Ackman. Upon roll call, all trustees voted aye ami the motion carri^. Trustee Stroupe requested tbe Clerk to ask the accountants to again this yeai clean up the inter-fund payables before the end of the fiscal year to the extent possible.
The bills were brought before the board after which a motion was made by Trustee •
Eisenmenger, aeeonded by Trustee Stroupe, to approve the payment of same and a listing of said bills is hereto attached.
The President then called on
Mr. Thomas Keller and his
attorney. President Enstrom
read the recommendation from
the Zoning Board in connection
with the Jerry Jones property
Mr. Keller and he were
petitioning for. There was
discussion regarding footage to
lot line regarding interpretation
of same in the ^ning laws.
Trustee Ackman made a motion
to accept the Zoning Board of
Appeals recommendation to
change this property on Route
47 to B2 from R2. Said motion
seconded by Trustee Mercer.
Trustee Ackman stipulated that
