WEREAS Chris Freund saved the life of a four year old with great risk to tlife.
WHEREAS Chris Freund acted with great courage amd decisiveness.
WHEREAS Chris Freund proved himself to be an unselfish young man.
BE FT RESOLVED THEREFORE that the Village Board and Citizens of Huntiey do cite Chris Freund for his unselfish, courageous and life saving met for which they do express their gratitude and pride in him.

Santa's Fund Committee will be holding the annual costume Holloween Party for all kids. Monday, October 31st. Schedule as foUows:

Go see the Jaycees Hrunted House, then come to the school gym for the judging of yoar costumes and the party. Coatume judging will be held in each age group aa in the past. Prirea will be given to all and refireshmenta will be served. Get your ideas working for your costumes.
Our Huntley Business pe<^le and friends are funding these parties so lets see a big turn out. Lets surpass previous years and fill the school gym with all our costumes trick or treaters.
We are sorry Jr. High and High School students, but we will have ao dance this year. We are limited with facilities. Plana are being made for your Christmat activities.
VILLAGE BOARD MINUTES
Th** Regular Meeting of tne Village Board of Trustees was brought to order at 8:00 P.M. on October 6, 1977 in the Board Room of the VUlage Hall.
The following were present at this meeting: Prc« ident Enstrom, Trastee. Sttoape, Ackman, Eiseameager, I^Mik, Lohneis and Mercer, aa well as Attorney Williaoi CaMwetl. Village En¬ gineer Dob Schwegel and Percy Swanson. Abo attending were the chairman of the Planning Commission and the chairman of the Zoning Commission.

The llwutdal reports were then revifwcJ. Trustee Stroupe made a motion to approve of the Treasurer's Report, btit added that -there still was no way to cross-reference this report wtth the managsiial report as there had been no andit report since June 30, 1977. This motion wa. seconded by Trustee Ackman. Upon roll call, all trustees voted aye and the motion carried.
