Last Thursday, Huntley Lioness Club Members along with a few husbands and daughters took a CPR course at the Hunttey Fire Bam.
After viewing a movie and Ustening to s short lecture, three Huntley Rescue Squad mem¬ bers; David Veath. Bryan Spencer and Chuch Yerke. took small groups to show them the correct technk|ues of CutHo- Pulmonaiy Resusitation (CPR).
After .an ezcnici»ting 4'/i hours, all 13 mimbers of the CPR class received their cards stating that each had completed the basic cardiopulmonary resusitation course and demon¬ strated proficiency In the technique of CPR. It Is suggested that a retraining course be taken again in a year, ifnotaocmer.

Fire Department for offering this course and Dave. Bryan and Chuck for their time aad patience. The courte was exhausting in the eztreme heat, the dummies ("amed Annie), we worked on were not vety co^>perative at times, but the course was interesting and the company enjoyable. We all ihank you.

^^4, -Installation of McHenry ^9IMM^ Salon. No. 483, Eight and Forty, was held August 21. at the Huntley Ameii»n Legion Post home, at 6:30. Dinner was served preceding the mstallation.

Fox River Grove; La Conderge. Lois Haak. Wonder Lake and Pouvoir member. Arlene Matt¬ ingly. Huntley. La Demi Chapeau. Marion Karlove, Crystal Lake and L'Archiviste. Becky Gabel, Fox River Grove, will be installed at a later date.

The object of this organiza¬ tion is to participate in and I contribute to the aims and purposes of the American Legion and the American Legion Auxiliary, to promote good fellowship, and to assist in the prevention and control of tuberculosis, cystic fibrosis.

Also" a donation is made to the Nurses Sch«ilar- ship Fund and noany other organizations.
