The Ultimate Winter Dance
THE ULTIMATE WINTER DANCE, held at the American Ugion last Saturday, was a huge success. THE RENEGADES* WHO PLAYED FOR THEIR HRST TIME IN Huntley, were well received by the crowd and we certainly hope we can get them back again.

The children's clothing exchange to be held at the Huntley Elementary School Gym is drawing near. All types of diildren's spring and summer clother will be on sale. Clothing must be in "very good" condition. Sizes to include infantwear to Boy's size 20, Girls to Junior sizes. Jeans to size 32 waist.
NO ADULT CLOTHES! Sale days are Sat. Mar. 3rd. from 9 am to 3 pm and Sun. Mar. 4th. from 12 pm to 3 pm. So please mark your calendar and shop here flrst for aome good buys for your children's spring St summer wardrobe.
For the sellers: you will receive70% of the selling price, the boosters will receive 30% which will go towards athletic uniforms & equipment. You must price and tag your own clothes. Tags and oomplete instructions will be given to you at registration. You must pre-re^er to sell. Registration Night is Wed. Feb. ISth. from 7 - 9 pm at the Huntley Elementary School Gym. Cloth¬ ing brought in by registered sellers will be received on Thursday Mar. 1st. from 7 - 9 pm and Fri. Mar. 2nd. from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. Properly tagged items will be chedced to insure quality condition. No stained or ripped clothing will be accepted.

Lioness Year '83 In Review
Local activities induded food baskets thru tfae Huntley Lions; donations to the Huntley American Legion and Sdiool District li*158. Sponaored the Miss Huntley Contest and entry into Miss McHenry Contest; presented three scholarships to Huntley High Sdiool students and paid for students to attend the Giris' State Convention. Furnished financial assistance to Huntley residents for hearing aides and continuously sponsor a Cost-Price sale of Hearing Aid Batteries (available at the Huntley Pharmacy.) Held four Young Persons Piaydays with toys as bingo prizes and had four large Jackpot winners at! our adult bingo, and contributed to the Eye Researdi Founda-* tion, and Lions of Illinois. All this was possible thru the Huntley Lioness Membership, our October Scholarship fund raiser, our April Caramel Com Day, and our Monday Night Bingo.
Ladies: Consider becoming a paying member of the Lioness. For information contact Bev (428-7516), or Fran (669-3146). Contribute time to our activities and enjoy the rewards of helping to put more "Countty Charm" into the Village of Huntley. Our next meetfaig is February IS at 7:30 at the American Legion.

Cookie Sale
The girl scouts and brownies will be taking orders for their annual cookie sale until Feb. 15th. Seven kinds of cookies are available and orders will be delivered March 16th. Anyone who would like to purchase cookies may call Nancy Preig- nitz at 669-5063.
Huntley in Tournament
Bowlers from the Huntley area partidpated in Christmas Team Tournament at Edgetown Lanes in Woodstock. Bowlers from Bowl-Hi Lanes that participated in the tournament were; Bowl-Hi Bombers, B & K Pbwer, Hustlers Service, Com¬ petitive Concrete, Bowl-Hi Giris, Bakley Co. Girls, Brettschneiders.
High Speed Chase Ends In Arrest
RICHARD W. BEIROU 26.of- Wauconda was arrested Fri¬ day evening at 8:36 at a 90 per hour chase by Huntley Police.
According to chief Rick Rossi Beirou was charged with fleaing and eluting police, sppeding and driving under the influence. He is also charged with battery for allegedly striking Huntley Police chief Rossi in the chest after his arrest.
The chase involved 5 munici- palis and the Illinois State Police
Rossi stated that Beirou was clocked driving 84 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone east on Algonquin Road he alledgidly tried to hide the car in a bam yard.
Beriou is scheduled for a February 16th Prelimanary hearing, Rossi concluded.
HOBO'S 20th. Anniversary March 2 & 3
Ihis year is a very special year for the Chancel Choir of the First Congregatfenal Church of Huntley. It is their 20th. annual HOBO SHOW. TheHOBO show is an hour of songs, skits and jokes. This^ear the jhp*' .vil' J«? titled, "MEMORIES" and wUl include many of the favorite numbers from the past 19 years. Remember "In The Mood" by Betsey and Larry Warrington? There will also be "The Banana Boat Song", ''The Family Toothbrush" and a very special number by our own Dale Anderson. The HOBOS have been working hard and this year plans to be a very special year!
There will be three shows this year. The first show on March 2nd. will be at 7K)0. The second and third shows will be on March 3rd at 5:30 and 8:00. Before eadi show the HOBOS personally serve a delicious dinner of beef stew, potatoes, salad, roll, cupcakes and ice cream sundaes. Absolutely no one will go away hungry or without a smile!
Tickets are available by advanced sales only. February
11th has been the date selected to begin the sales. Mary Lou Hardy will be in the church social hall from 9:30-12:00 selling the tickets. After that tickets will only be available by calling Mary Lou at 669-5522 after 5:30 pm. Prices for the dinner and show are $6.00 for adults and S3.00 for children 12 and under. Tickets are sold by: reserved seatlfiig ao oome early to reserve the seat you want.

Present were: President Enstrom, Trustees, Wicke, Ahrens, Dhamer, and Wicke. Absent: Trustees Mercer and Beriin. Also attending were Chief Rossi, members of the Public Works Department and Planning Chairman 'Zitk.
The minutes of the January 5, 1984 meeting were brought before the trustees for their approval and there being no additions nor oorredions, they stood approved as presented.
The current bills were examined and found to be in
order and Trustee Wicke made a motion that all be paid witfa tfae exception of the Midwest Underground invoice from last month. Said motion was seoonded by Trustee Dahamer and upon roll call, all trustees voted ay; and tfae motioa carried. "^
The financial statements were then reviewed by tfae Board and a motkm was made by Trustee Wicke, to accept the Treasurer's Report as presented, seconded by Trustee Aiamer, and upon roll call, all trustees voted aye and the motion carried.

Bowl-Hi Banquet took 1st place in tfae McHenty County PBA Xmas Team Tournament. They took home a 4 foot tiopfay and S1600 and bowled a total of
