RECEPTION FOR NINETIETH BIRTHDAY ANNOUNCED

Mrs. Mable Henmer will celebrate her nine¬ tieth birthday at a buffet reception on Sun¬ day, July 2.0th hosted by her family. The o- pen house will be held in the hall of St, Mary's Church from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M.
Mrs. Hemmer, the former Mabel Donahue, was born on July 23,l896 and is a life-time resi¬ dent of Huntley. She entered the Huntley Grade School in 1902 and graduated from Hunt¬ ley High School in 191^. Mrs. Henmer taught thirty years in McHenry County schools, twen¬ ty-three of those years in Huntley. Mrs. Hemmer, the widow of Edmond Hemmer, is the mother of three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Bar¬ bara) Ernesti, Mrs. Francis (Mary Elizabeth) Manning, and Mrs. Joseph (Margaret) Manning.
Mrs. Hemmer is a member of St. Mary's Altar and Rosary Society, the Huntley Senior Citi¬ zens, and the McHenry County Historical Soci¬ ety.
Her family extends this invitation to their friends to greet Mrs. Hemmer oh this happy ' occasion. They request no gifts.
UACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
The First Congregational

CHANGE OF MEETING DATE
The July 24th meet¬ ing of the Board of Education of Huntley Consolidated School District 158, has been changed to July 23rd, 7:30 P.M. at the High School.

TIME FOR THO's Hunt let! Park District is offering a 4* session program just for partici¬ pants who are 2 iiears old. Par¬ ticipants will enjoi! stoies, outside activ¬ ities, simple crafrts and snacks. The ses¬ sions are on Tuesda<!s and Thursdai!S, Juli! 2? and 31 and August 5 and 7 from ?:30 - 11:00 in Deicke Park. Connie Lombard is the instructor.
