EASTER EGG HUNT
Winners from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades category were: 1st Place-Scott Doty 2nd Place - Vicki Leffleman 3rd Place - April Sterutler
' Winners from 4th, Sth, and 6th grades were: 1st Place - Lora Leffleman 2nd Place - Phyllis Kearns 3rd Place - Bill Coker & Jerry Roberts
Winners from 6th, 7th, and Sth grade were:

Several entries for the best decorated eggs were brought in. Thej
winners of this contest were: Scott & Angie Doty, Ron Reh, Mandy i
Barton, and Sherry Ottley.
Last Saturday, April 15, the Easter Bunny arrived in Huntley to participate in the hunt. Bunny brought some of her friends along again this year.
The first egg hunt was held at the Square Park for the pre-schoolers thru kindergarten children. The little ones bubbled with excitement as they searched for the treasurers.
The Easter Egg Hunt then continued at Deicke Park for the older children.
Children and parents enjoyed games and fun at Deicke Park following the hunt.
SCHOOLBOARD MINUTES
The regular meeting of the Board of Education of School District #158, Huntley Consoli¬ dated School Huntley, III. was held in the High School building on April 13, 1978 at 7:30 pm.
Upon roll call the following answered present Mrs. Koppie, Mrs. Livingston, Mr. Brettsch¬ neider, Mr. Pupich and Mr. Zirk.
Mr.s. Pawl and Mr. Grismer absent.
Canvas or Election of April 8, 1978 as follows:
Richard L. Spears - 132
Theresa A. Koppie - 108 Michael Grismer - 116 Dr. Robert Prank - 1 Wayne Peterson - 1 Dick Erath - 1 <k Ziller - 1
Total vote cast - 198
Mr. Grismer joined the meet¬ ing at 7:.17 pm.
The President recognized Mr. West ofthe ArchJtcctual firm of D. West &. Associates. Mr. West repii. his findings on the gy stated the
roofer wouiu /c odck to check on the roof during the next week and to continue their investigat¬ ion as to the cause for the leaks.
Mrs. Livingston asked for a writted statement from Mr. West regarding Ills findings and solutions to the problems. Mr. West agreed to provide the Board with a written statement to this effect.
Mr. Brettschneider moved to accept the Election Canvas. 2nd by Mr. Pupich. The motion carried 6 yeas & no nays.
A motion made by Mr. Pupich and 2nd by Mr. Zirk to seat Richard Spears for a three year term. The motion carried 6 yeas

A motion made by Mr. Zirk and 2nd by Mr. Brettschneider to seat Michael Grismer for a three year term. The motion carried 6 yeas and no nays.
A motion made by Mr. Brettschneider and 2nd by Mr. Spears to adjourn the meeting to call another to organize the new Board of Education for the coming year. The motion carried 6 yeas and no nays.
This being a continuation of the regular meeting of April 13, 1978 of the Board of Education of School District #158 Huntley Consolidated School, Huntley, 111., being held in the High School Building at 8:00 pm.
Ufwn roll call the following answered present Mrs. Livings¬ ton, Mr. Spears, Mr. Grismer, Mr. Pupich, Mr. Brettschneider and Mr. Zirk. Mrs. Pawl absent.
Mrs. Livingston appointed Mr. Brettschneider as President Pro-tem.
A motion made by Mr. Pupich and 2nd by Mr. Spears to nominate Mrs. Livingston as President. The motion carried 6 yeas & no nays.
