VARSITY BEATS SANDWICH
The Redakin Varsity played Sandwich for Homecoming in an excellent game winning 14-6. The Redakia defense waa super. The offense played vety well. The Color Guard preaented the flag and the band played "The Star Spanngled Banner."
Huntley leceived. Livingston took the ball fitom the end zone to the 20. Reyaolda moved to tfae 23 and again to the 28. LMngstoo moved to dte 42 on a pass. Newton weat to tbe 43. Meyer of Sandwidi intercepted a pass aod waa downed by Reeves. Livingston A Erath held Hargrove to the 41. Newton St. Erath downed Jankowski at the 35. Paul Drafall tackled Kannmacher at the 41.
JAYCEE ROSE OAY OCT 17th
October 17tb (Sweetest Day) will be Rose Day fbr the Hundey Area Jayceea. For the Sth year, the Huatiey Jaycees will be participating In thia annual event which has the primary goal of raising funda for Camp New Hope, the Illinois Jaycee Camp for handicapped chUdren. This year Rose Day is a statewide project in which the Ulinois Jaycees hope to raiae $50,000 for Camp New Hope.
Huntley Citizens who would like to order a dozen roses should contacct any Huntley Area Jaycee. The roses cost ,$12.00 per dozen. The pre-paid orders must be made by October 7th. The Jaycees will deliver the roses on October 17tfa.
During the week phone orders can be made by calling 669-3910. Also, Jaycees wiU be avaUable at Hoppy's Barber Shop on Saturday, October 3rd, from 10 am to noon to take orders.
