The space ship performed beautifully as did the] „_ . ,, „ ^ dhcn ship that soared over the heads of the five

Huntley, ihey left humming the tunes that were! performed by the hobos.
Luann Lamz directed the show and Barbara Faga was accompianist to all of the local artists. Jan Crabill was chief of the kitchen crew.
Teacliers Seelc Revenge
Friday, March 14, 1986, the Huntley grade school teachers wiU tty to avenge last years loss to the Sth grade basltetball team. A team of tall and rather over-weight teachers lead by such popular ez-stars as Mr. Hunger, Mr. Maciejewski, Mr. Senters, and Mr. Kahl promise to attempt to survive the 4 quarters of basketball. "No way we can loose!" says Mr. Hunger, this year's rookie to the squad. "We have too much height. It won't even be a close game. These kids think just because we're a little bit older, and chat they've t>een playing all year that they are going to win!"
When asked for his opinion on the teachers' chances. Coach Maciejewski refused to com¬ ment. Perhaps he has leamed his lesson after last year's 66-48 punishment.
To add to the evening's excitement, the Sth grade cheerleaders have also been challenged by a cheerleading
squad of teachers. Says Miss Judson, "Those cheers and pyramids are no problem. I just hope I don't have to be on the top." Sounds like these teachers could be facing serious injury - both physically and emotionally. Perhaps that's why Lynne Sell, the school counselor, and Mark Drake, the school psychologist, have both been signed to play with the rest of the ex-jocks.
Sounds like an evening of entertainment no one should miss. Grade School Faculty vs. the Sth Grade Basketball Team, Friday night, March 14th at 7:00 pm. $2.00 adults, Sl.OO kids. See you there 1!

Village Board IVlinates
The regular meeting of th© Huntley Village Board of Trustees was held at 8 pm onj March 6, 1986, in the viUage; hall. Pres. Dhamer, Trustees! Ahrens, Brown, Berlin, Zim-' merman, and Russ, attorney
Szura, and engineer Schwegelj attended. Pres. Dhamer call thej meeting to order, noting that! the meeting was being tape-recorded by members o^ the public. When asked, Mr. Szura said that the meeting
could be recorded but that the board could determine how the tapes were made. Trustees said that the taping devices would have to be in the audience area, away ftom the council table. Minutes of the previous meeting were accepted as presented.
Trustee Berlhi moved, Brown seconded (unanimous) to accept! the month's financial reports.' Holding one bill back, Mr. Brown moved, Russ seconded to pay the month's bills (unani¬ mous). Mr. Alirens moved, Russ seconded to pay the held bill from D & Z Transfer for $41. The motion passed on roll call of 4 ayes, Mr. Zimmerman passing. Pres. Dhamer than presented bills from the engineer dealing with the planning of curbs and gutters and the maintenance of Bonnie Brae. After examination. Trus¬ tee Ahrens moved, Zimmerman seconded (unanimous) to pay Baxter & Woodman.
Pres. Dhamer asked if the board would consider the new zoning ordinance and the petition for zoning from Mr. Herb Jackisch together. Mr. Zukowski, attomey represent¬
ing Jackisch, reminded the board that his petition dealt with three parcels of land bordering Pinecrest Golf Course, for which he had requested condominium /townhouse zoning. In order to resolve one of the zoning problems, Mr. Zukowsld des¬ cribed a compromise in which the 100 ft. of parcel 1 adjacent to the Jones property and the eastern 100 ft. of parcel 3 would be zoned R-1 restricted to one-story building. The remain¬ der of parcels 1 and 3 would be zoned with the rest of the property. Mr. Jackisch and Mrs. Jones being present agreed to the compromise. It was noted that the one-story covenant would stay with the property, title and that parcel 3 would have to be resurveyed.
Than Mr. Zukowski suggest¬ ed that the board not act on the ammended zoning ordinance as: presented, but instead, author¬ ize the village attomey to work with him to develop a limited zoning for townhouses and condominiums. Trustee Zim-; merman noted that thej combined planning/zoning bis. Continued on Page 6
