In May he was operated on at Dlinois Masonic Hospital where 90% of a tumor wrapped around his spinal cord was removed. After the surgery, he went to St. Jude's Hospital hi Memfrfiis, Tennessee for fiirther treatment. He receives diemotherapy intravenously through a Hickman Line in his chest. The boys sold nine cases of popcorn with 12 jars in each. Young Steve's grandfather bought 100 bottles of popcom himself. In February the Huntley Lions Gub will be holding a Spaghetti Supper to raise funds for Steve's medical care. Be sure to watch the Farmside for more details. The elementary program, "Grandma's Christ¬ mas Scrapbook", will feature the sfaiging by eadi grade of new and old carols. The finale will be "Christmas Speaks to Everyone" and of coarse Santa will be here to oomplete die evenings entertainment. The December 20th ooncert will include perfbrmances by the Junior High and High Sdwol Bands and diolrs and the Himtley Sfaigers. EARLY DISMISSAL Students will be dismissed at 1:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Decem¬ ber 21st (following dieir party) to begin the hoHday break. There will be no kindergarten for the A.M. stadeats that day.
