AUXILIARY DONATES BOOKS TO SCHOOL LmRARIES

Last Monday, November 8. Mrs. May Chesak, Education Chairman of the Huntley Auxiliary presented checks to each of the three Huntley school Libraries. The donations were made in conjunction with National Education Week and furthering the education of Huntley youngsters.
CUB SCOUT CHILLSUPPER

Last Saturday night, the Huntley Cub Scouts held their Chili Supper at the I st Congregational Church. Chill Sc Chill Mac were served to 272 diners as well as delicious homemade salads, vegetables and cakes made by mothers.
This is the Cub Scout's only fund raiser. It helps to defray costs ^ for camping and the Pinewood Derby held each year.
Afterwards may diners went to th« Penguins Snowball dance to work off their great dinner. The Penguins throw the dance every year to thank their supporters and members and give the community an evening of fun.
DRAMA CLUB TO

The Huntley Junior High Drama Club's production for this year is, "Snow White". It will be presented on November 17 and 18 at 7:30 P. M. in the grade school gym. Tickets are now on sale and are available by contacting the grade school office. All seats are reserved and are $1.00. The cast includes: Cris Manely. Kris Hutchison. Brett Blank, Cassie Evans. MINUTES OF THE REGULAR
MEETING OF THE VILLAGE
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
On November 4, 1982, the Village Board of Tmstees of Huntley held their Regular Meeting in the Village Hall in the Board Room and the meeting was ca^ed to order by the President at 8:00 p.m.
Present for the meeting were President Enstrom, Trustees Wicke, Dhamer, Berlin, Mercer and Rudsinski with Brown being absent. Also attending were Village Attorney Szura, Village Engineer Schwegel and mem¬ bers of the Public Works Department.

VARSITY BEATS SANDWICH
p.. ,^i Friday following the Varsity game Bt Sandwidi,
players picked up Joe Manning on their shoolden and walked him around the field in a salute to his many jrears as Coadi. Sandwidi was Joe's last game as Varsity Football C6ach.
The Redskin Varsity played Sandwich in an excellent game despite the freezing weadier conditions winning 12-6. Both team's came into the final game with a record of 3 wins and 5 losses.
Three Redskins deserve special mention for an excellent playing season. They are: Dave Hansen, who was tite backbone of the Huntiey offense and was also responsible for some great defensive plays; Dale Pfaff, who was the leading tackier for the Skins and saved tiie Valley Lutheran game and Paul Manning, who as a soph<miore
played an excellent game as quarterback.
Zaglauer took the kickoff to the 41. Hansen went to the 42 and then to the 43. Manning was sacked at the 34.
Manning punted to the S.30. Dave Hansen tackled Schroeder at the 34. Doyle and Anderson downed Hinshaw at the 36. Sandwich punted to the H4S. Manning recovered a fumble. Hansen, in a great run, made a TD. The extra pt. was no good.
Harris kicked off. Zaglauer A Erwin Drafall held Schroeder to tile 4. Cariodt held Flowers to ConHnuedonPaneft
