SUE SCHALLER NAMED MISS HUNTLEY FOR MILK
Sue Schaller, a petite green eyed blonde, was named Miss Huntiey for Harvard MUk Oay Contest by her classmates. Sue is well known in Huntley as a cheerleader, a National Honor Society member, a waitress at the Village Inn and a member of the Swing Choir and Chorus.
She is the daughter of Joe Sl Dorothy Schaller. Joe is a plumber and Dorothy is a Secretary at Deans Food Company. Sue and her two brothers. Rich and Dan, reside at home. She is also a member of the Legion Auxiliary and a cast member of "Oliver.''
She enjoys singing, trying new things, her family, Alaskan King Crab, honesty, collecting "Love Is" sayings and jogging. She dislikes two faced people, world problems, unintelligent conversations and her braces.
SIXTH GRADE RUMMAGE SALE
The Huntley Sizth Grade Class will hold a Rununage aad Bake Sale on Saturday, May 2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the American Legion Hall. In addition to unique and useful items available at the rummage sale, there will be a wide variety of fresh baked goods for sale. Beginning at 3 p.m. a Sl a bag sale will be held.
All of the money made will be spent for a 3-day outdoor recreation trip by the sizth graders and their teachers during the last week of May. This trip is an eztension of tbeir classroom science class.
There is still time to dtmate articles iat the Rummage Sale. Contact the Hansmanns at 669-5847 or the Wiesneths at 669-SS67 for pickup aad storage.
Plan now to attend.
UONESS CARMEL CORN OAY
The preparations are almost over, the street corners are assigned and the caramel oorMM in hand.
It's time for Lioness Club Caramel Com Day! The date is Friday, May 1, and the hours are from early moming through early evening, with members of tlie Huntley Lioness Club gearing up to give away caramel corn and accept donations to beneFit the blind, visually handicapped, deaf and hearing impaired.
"This is the first year we've attempted this type of effort and we intend for it to be a meaningful one in terms of results for the handicapped botta locally and statewide,'' said Gail Hayes, Qub President. "In the past, the tociabers of the community have been most supportive of our efiorts to help. Continued on Page 2

Kim Keams is the daughter of Mr. & k4rs. William T. Kearas of Huntley.
Kim. 10^ is a junior at jHmitlay High Sdieat,. SoholaatknUy she ia ranked seventh itt har i^iis aad maitains a grade jioiat average of J.02. She is a member of the National Honor Society and is President ofthe Junior Class. Aside from her leadership activities, she enjoys being a member of the VoUeybaU and Softball teams. She is also a member of the liigh school dioir and is very active in the Huntley Harvestors 4-H club.
Kim has thirteen bothers and sisters. Seven of whom are still living at home.

Diane ^Dittrich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Josctf Dittridk of Huntley, is currentiy a junior at Huntley High School. She is sixteen and has two older brothers, who live in Colorado. She is interested in water ballet. Diane, also enjoys icarate, racquetbaU, aad summer vacation and is looking forward to the ezperience that Ulini Girls State will provide.
Diane works at Brody's in Elgin each Saturday and Sunday.
