Thursday, June 16 m^^ks & special Open House Day with a ribbon cutting, flag rfishig ceremony scheduled for 2:00 P.M. p.s. Congressman Robert McOory and Sute Representative pruce Waddell will be on hand to official th4'proceedings as well as many other local dignatiaries and Huntley's own American t^pa^ Color -gi|ard group. Conthiued on l^ck Fdge Julie Ornberg and Dale Pfaff present Father with a Spiritual Bouq¬ uet from the C.C.D. students Last Sunday, June Sth, Father L.D. Day celebrated a High Mass of Thanksgiving at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 12 noon. The altar was decorated with floral arrangements of Gladioli, Snapdragons, Stocks and Anthurium. At the conclusion of tlie Mass, Rev. Stanley Ryzner presented Father Day with a Papal Blessing. Father receiv¬ ed a standing ovation from those who attended Mass. Following the service, an Open House was given by the parish at the American Legion Home. Mrs. Charles Kreutzer, chairman of the celebration, opened the ceremonies by welcoming everyone to the celebration honoring Father Day on his SOth yeax as a priest. She said, "Father Day has always folt deeply about the importance of LOCKING ARMS with onr ndghbors, regardless of race or relig¬ ion. We are therefore pleased today to have with us Rev. Frederi^ Harm, Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church and Rev. Roger Mealiff, Pastor of ist Congregational Church. The ceremony was opened by tlietev. Dt.
