HOMECOMING PARADE
Last Sunday a Plaquing ceremony took place at the 1st Congregational Church in Huntley during the 10:30 service. The plaque was presented to the church by the McHenry County Historical Society. Pictured are members of the church, Amold Chesak, Rev. Sheldon, Herb Eggers, Nancy Petzel and Henry Marlowe with Shui Kimura from the Historical Museum.

PANCAKE
BREAKFAST
On Sunday, October 24, 1982, the Huntlov Lions Club will hold their . .al Pancake Breakfast at the American Legion Home, located in downtown Huntley, across from the Park. This is a all you can eat affair, consisting
of Sausages, Eggs, and Pancakes. Orange Juice, Milk and coffee are included in the meal. The price is $3.00 iot adults and 91.50 for children under 12. Serving will be from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. rain or shine.
SIhQRADE'SLAVE SALE
The Sth grade is going to have a Slave Sale to help you with your fall clean up. Tlie date for this fund raising activity is Saturday, October 23.
They will work in 5 hour shifts (no more) between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6 p.m. Babysitting will be 8:00 a.m. to 12 a.m. (no later).
The price will be $6.25 each for a 5 hour shift; $1.25 an hour if less than a 5 hour shift.
The students could do:

HAaOWEEN PARTY
On Saturday, October 30th, Trick or Treating will be held in Huntley fiom 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Later in the evening the Huntley Park District wUl held their annual Halloween Party at the school fh>m 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. The party features a coatume paniide, fMlowed by a Disney Cartoon and refreshment.
Last Saturday culminated Homecoming Week with a\ 10 a.m., two fbotball games in the aftemoon and a dance in the evening with the new Homecoming King and Queen being choaen.
On Friday night students ftom the High School and Grade achool participated in a Snake Dance which lead them downtown and a pep rally at the downtown park whh dieerleaders and the band lea<Ung the rally off. Students then went back to the fbotball field for a huge bonflre and more cheers.
