HOMECOMING CANDIDATES
Last Tuesday, September 27th the selected by the High School students.
The Queen candidates are Barb Brettschneider, Peg Harting, Cindy Jacobs, Marian Manning, and Tammy Ream.
Homecoming King candidates are Larry Borhart, Rich Degner, Steve (jrechis, Ron Marsh, and Dean Pf^ff.
The final vote to decide who the Homecoming King Sc Queen will be held on Thursday.

SENIOR CFTIZEN WALK-IN CENTER TO OPEN OCT. 6th
"The McHenry County Senior Citizen's Council will be opening a new Walk-In Center for Seniors on Thursday, October 6, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Huntley", announces Marge Jones, Execu¬ tive Director fbr the Council.
"This will make the sixth Walk-In Center in McHenry County", Marge said, "and it will be open one day a week, to start, with the intent to expand to two days a week next year.''
The Huntley Center will be financed through the courtesy of Grafton Township, Coral Town¬ ship and the VUlage of Huntley.
"All Huntley seniors are cord¬ ially invited to attend the Grand Opening Day Party which will start at 10:00 a.m.". Marge concluded. Reservations for meals must be made by 2:00 p.m. the day before you plan to eat at the Center. Ruth Schutze is the Site Manager for the meals program and will be accepting reservations at 312-669-5594 for the Grand Opening..
Louise Kreutzer has been hired as Hostessfor the Center and will be responsible for seeing to the comfort of pattldpasts.

and 40 business leaders attended the lunch. The purpose of the meeting was to thank the people for their support of the Jaycees and to introduce them to Mr. Ed Kelly from the Elgin Chamber of Commerce.
Larry Anniballi, State Presi¬ dent of the Jaycees, explained to the group the goals of the organization. He and tiie Dundee Cub extended the Huntley area Jaycees aeveral yean ago.
Mr. Kelly explained to the bitsinessmen the purpose and beneflts offered by the Elg^. Chamber of Commerce. He uiA that t^er duunbers in Algon¬ quin and Dundee used the Bgin ofllce for their clerical work. He saM that one Hundey business was a member of the Elgin
