GLAUCOMA MOBILE IN HUNTLEY ON DEC. 2nd
DALE ERATH NAMED TO ALL CONFERENCE TEAM
Early detection of Glaucoma is the goal of the Huntley Lions Club, working with the Lions of Illinois Foundation, a non-proflt charitable arm of the Illinois Lion Clubs. The local club will provide a visit of the'Lions of Illinois Mobile Glaucoma (eye) Screening Unit on Wednesday, December 2, 1981. The unit will be located at the Anierican Legion Home ttom 1:00-4:00 p.m.
The screenings are for adults and are offered free. No appointment is necessary. Volunteers from the Lions Club will be on hand to assist. The glaucoma test itself is administered by a doctor irom the University of Illinois Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine Department of Ophthalmology.
LIONESS CLUB AWARD DINNER
Dale Erath, a aenior, was elected to tbe. Big "8" Conference Team as a defenaive back last week. Dale has played in the defensive secondary fbr the last two yeara. In Ua aenior year, he led the team with five paaa interceptiona. He alao had 20 aolo tacklea, many of them were touchdown aaving tacklea. He la a hard hitting, sure open field tackier.
Dale has been on the squad fbr 4 years. He not (mly played defense but was the team'a quarterback and a team leader.

The Senior Citizen Conunun¬ ity Christmas party will be beld on Thursday, December 17th at the American Legion Home. The Huntley Lioness Club will I sponsor the party this year and ithe Legion Auziliary will aerve ' the dinner. Reservations must I be in no lat^ than December 10th. There will be no special cards sent out thia year. All Senior Citizena in the entire Huntley area are invited to attend and participate.
