The Board of Education ratified the contract on Thursday evening which had been earlier ratified by the- Huntley Education Association. The contract calls for a beginning teacher salary at the bachelor's degree level of $12,450. The overaU salary schedule reflects a 10.2% increaae over the previous year. Both parties in the negotia¬ tions believe the contract encompasses a workable plan which represents the best interest of the community and the school. St. Mary's Catholic Church will be participating again this year. The Seniors Kitchen Band is preparing for their concerts and more musical groups are being contacts. Boy Scouts wiU be selling hot dogs in the Center. In honor of the celebration, a dance wUl be held by the American Legion with proceeds going towards the Little League.
