NORTHERN DIVISION PONY LEAGUE WINS
The 1982 4-H King and Queen candidates have been named, and the winners will be announced on Thursday night, August 5 at the McHenry County Fair.
The finalists are chosen by (he Extension Council and then the county's 1.200 4-H members vole for the King and Queen irom among the nominees. Queen Fmalists include Judy Borhari, 17, Huntley; Vicky Schoenbeck. 18. Richmond: Ann Perry. lb, Harvard; Sandy Slater. 17, Harvard; Betsy
Payne, lb, Woodstock; and Lu Ann Lagerhausen, 18, Wood¬ stock.
King Candidates include Keith Dormann, 16, Harvard; Steve Drendel, 19, Huntley; Tim Van Acker, 17, Huntley; and Todd Borchardt, lb, Greenwood.
Ihe candidates provided the following observations about 4-H and the value of this program to them:

Last Sunday, the North Division coached by Bob Ellsworth beat the South Division 12-4 with 250 cheering on tbe teama. The starting pitcher waa Larry Baael, wbo
allowed one run in three innings. The 2nd pitcher waa Kenny Kaneth of Burlington, who allowed only 2 runs. Tbe last pitcher was Todd Ream, who allowed one run in three
innings and a save. Todd struck out seven batters in three innings and drove in three rims on two hite. Larry Basel was the winning pitcher.

NORTH TWaiTE LITTLE LEAGUE WINS
North Little Leaguers (Huntley, Wasco, Maple Park) of the North Division of the Twilite Little League beat the South (KaneviUe, Sugar Grove, Elbum) 5 to 4.
HAVESTORS AT HISTORICAL MUSEUM JULY 18th
Sunday, July 18th, the McHenry Cotinty Historical Museum in Union will present an afternoon of family 4-H fun. The activities both inside the museum and on the grounds are being undertaken by McHenry County's oldest 4-H club, the Huntley Harvesters under the direction of Mrs. Elmer Meyer. Erath, Danny Erath, Ken Basel, and Greg Kittel. These boys have been on the Traveling Team for three years.
