This Sunday, January 18th, the 1st Congregational Church and St. Mary's Catholic Church, both of Huntley, will hold a Walk for Christian Unity. Members of both churches, under the guidance of Father Ambre and Rev. Mealiff, will meet at the Congregational Church at 2 p.m. where a service will be conducted until 2:30. The group will then preceed to St. Mary's Catholic Church where a Unity Service will be held from 2:45 to 3:15.
Following the service, a social will be held at 3:30 at St. Mary's. Rev. Mealiff andJFather Ambre welcome members of all churches to attend the Unity Service.     " '        '~" "    ",

Last Saturday moraing, the Huntley Redskin Juniors played Sandwich at home winning 52-44. The starting line up for the team were Tom Hight, Bob Livingston. ^Brett Barrett, Carl Michalek and Pat Schweiger with Bill Weirich and several sophomores playing throughout the game.
Sandwich took off with the ball with Ericson, Kalzow, Scheidecker scoring for a 7-0 'lead. Michalek made the first Redskin points. Bob Livingston stole the ball. Kraparsky added 2 for Sandwich. Hight made a basket and a great steal. Bob Livingston stole the ball. Scheidecker made 4 pts. for Sandwich.
The 2nd Quarter began with Michalek stealing, Weirich making a save; Hight making a save ans Weirich making another save. Allen scored for Sandwich. Livingston came back
with 2 pts. He then stole the ball' and scored. Kalzow made 2 free throws for Sandwich. Barrett added 2 pts. on free throws. Livingston stole the ball and Barrett scored. Livingston made 2 more pts. for a 17-12 score. Livingston made a great play for a jump call. Livingston added 2 pts. on fiee throws. Schweiger made some great rebounds. Livingston tied up the score on 2 free throws. Lohemeik put Sandwich ahead by 1 pt. Schweiger tied up the game with a free throw to end the half. In the 2nd half, Kolzow put Sandwich in the lead but Michalek tied it up on a Livingston set up. Hight took the Skins ahead and Barrett put the score at 24-20 on a rebound shot. Schweiger stole the ball and Hight scored. Barrett added 2 on a Schweiger set up. Ericson gave Sandwich 2 pts. Livingston Continued on Page 2

MINUTES OF THE
REGULAR MEETING OF
THE VILLAGE OF HUNTLEY
The January Sth, 1981 Regular Meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held in the Board Room of the Village Hall and brought to order by President Enatrom at 8:00 P.M.
Present were Trustees Stroupe, Dhamer. Mercer and Rudsinski with Lamb and Wicke being absent. Also attending were Attorney Szura and members of the Public Works Department, Oldham and Schultz.
The minutes of the December 4th, 1980 meeting were brought before the Trustees for their approval and there being no additions nor corrections, they stood approved as presented.
The financial reports were reviewed and Trustee Stroupe made a motion to approve the Treasurer's Report subject to the receipt of the audit for the 1979-80 fiscal year. Trustee Mercer seconded this motion and upon roll call, all trustees voted aye and the motion carried.
The bills for the current month were brought fbr appro¬ val and a motion was made by Trustee Dhamer, seconded by Trustee Mercer, to approve of all invoices, with the exception of Invoice #4674 from Bazter and Woodman which was to be checked by the clerk before paying, and upon roll call, all trustees voted aye and the motioncarried.
The President called upon Richard Jacobs, who respre- sents Fred S. James Co., nunrance agents fbr the village. He stated that he was before the Board at Trustee Lamb's invitation to advise that the Public OfTicial Liability and Umbrella insurance were due fbr renewal and also that there Continued on Page 4

Park District's brand new exercise program designed especially for you by Donna Heavey. The class will meet on Thursday from 11:00 - 11:30 at the 1st Congregational Church in Huntley. There is no fee.
BLOODBANK
On January 20th, the Aurora Area Blood Bank in conjunction with the American Legion Auxiliary Will hold a Blood Bank from 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the American Legion Home. Chairman Neva Robertshaw thank evetyone for their past support and asks that they come to this Blood Bank. This service insures all Huntley residents of blood ifthey are hospitalized.
INDIAN POW-WOW AT GRADE SCHOOL THIS SATURDAY
This Saturday, January 17th, an Osawan Pow-Wow will be held at the Huntley Grade School Gym. Traders will be showing Indian made goods and Indians will be in authentic dress.
The Pow-wows are held in January and in August. The days of the event are usually near the time when there will be a   full   moon.   The   August
Pow-wow is put-An a no charge and is usually held at the Krumweide farm on Frank Road. The atmual winter dance is a benefit to support the Grant-in aid fund for Native American Indian students at the college level. Donations are $2.50 fbr adults and S1.2S for children.
The Pow-wow is sponsored by the Mascoutin Society of Chicagoland. Remember to attend the Pow wow this Saturday at the Grade School gym.
