State Bank Of Huntley Still Celebrating
The State Bank of Huntley's still celebrating its 75th Anniversary of service to Huntley residents. Thursday, September 15th, the State Bank of Huntley held an outdoor barbecue on the bank property for its customers as a way of showing appreciation for their business.
A large 90' by 30' tent was set up for dining with an additional 20' by 20' tent for food service. The dining tent held 40 tables with each table seating 8 to 9 people. The menu consisted of barbecued pork chops, baked beans, potato salad, cole slaw, and birthday cake.
The affair was a huge success with tha tent filled to capacity for each of the three servings.
The high school senior class was in charge of directing trafTic and did an excellent job.
Earlier in the year the bank held two luncheons for customers who had banked with them since 1940 or before with a total of 51 customers being in attendance.
Earlier this summer,
customers were invited to try
their luck at the "Birthday
