A jamed capacity crowd fjied the Social Hall at the First Congregational Church in Huntiey to bid Dr. Robert L. Frank, Pastor Of the Church for the past ten years, a found farewell.
Friend in the congregation of the Church presented Dr. Frank with a gold Wittnaver pocket watch Ingraved with his initials. A check and a card signed by members of the congregation and friends was also received. The card which is pictured else where on this page was written by Fran Sheets. The watch was presented to Dr. Frank by Mrs. Ervin during Dr. Franks last service of the Church.
Dr. Frank will teach full time Philosophy at McHenry County College.
SENIOR CITIZENS
The Huntley Senior Citizens will hold theit meeting this Fri¬ day, February 4th, with a pot-luck beginning at 12:30 in the Trinity Lutheran Church recreation hall. The meeting was cancelled last Friday because of the weather. All Huntley area Seniors are urged to attend the«e meeting which are usually held oo the last Friday of each month.
The combined Church Women's Groups of the Huntley Congregational Church will spon¬ sor a Salad Luncheon on Wed¬ nesday, April 27th. Chairman of the event is Mrs. Robert Kreutzer. Despite the cold weather. Spring is just around the comer and it is time to mark your ' calendars and plan to attend the ¦ many Spring events that will be coming up.
