A pot luck dinner was held for tfae easay winners and their parents. Mrs. Mabel Schultz, Auxiliary President, announced that a total of 85 essays were tumed in by the 7th & Sth grade studenU; 96 by 9th & 10th grade studenU and 15 by llth & 12th grade studenU. The theme was "What My County's Flajj Means to Me."' TEACHERS RESaND RESOLUTION March 25.1961 Previously you received a letter of Censure ttom the Huntley Education Assoiciation. This Association has taken furth action and rescinded the Resolution. Our statement is as follows: "The Huntley Education Association has rescinded tbe Resolution of Censure against the Board of Education, the superintendent, and the grade school prindpal of District #158, because the purpose of the resolution was not clear, thus causing too much misunderstanding." EASTER EQQ HUNT Pray for nice weatlier folkal The Huntley Park District will be sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 17th at Deicke Pait. A special appear¬ ance will be made by the Easter Bunny and there wUl be prizes for the best decorated eggs in each age division as well as prizes for tbe most eggs found. Mr. James Skomer, principal, welcomed the crowd to what he called his favorite duty. He went on to say wbat a pleasure'it was to say good things and tfaat in Huntley it is a double pleasure. He thanked Mra. Williams fbr her special efforts. Board member, Bob Zirk gsve the Invocation. Coach Glen Delaney thanked the Lion's Club, Booaters and parenU for helping with the dinner. A ham dinner with pot luck itenu were served. Cheerieaders were awarded honors by Lfaid* Kostelac for their dedication and athletic ability during the year.
