Village Board Of Trustees Meeting
The Regular Meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held in the Board Room of the Village Hall on Thursday, July 14, 1988, and brought to order by President Dhamer at 8:00 p.m.
Present were: President Dhamer, Trustees Borowicz, Greve, Berlin and Hoeft, with Trustees Wicke and Brown being absent. Also attending were Attorney Kukla, Village Engineer Schwegel, Chief of Police Rossi and Building Insector Spradlin.
The minutes of the June 9, 1988 meeting were brought to the Trustees. Trustee Greve asked that the minutes be corrected to show that he abstained in the transfer of school and park donation funds action. He made a motion to approve the minutes as corrected, seconded by Trustee Borowicz and upon roll call, all trustees voted aye and the motion carried.
Th financiail reports were i.'«mined. Trustee Borowicz made a motion to accept the Treasurer's Report as submitted, seconded by Trustee Hoeft, and upon roll call, all trustees voted aye, the motion carried, and the Clerk was instructed to make payment of same.
President Dhamer read an automatic Minolta copy machine Service Plan to the Board regarding renewal. After discussion, Trustee Hoeft made a motion to renew the service contract as presented, seconded by Trustee Borowicz, and upon roll call, all trusteea voted aye and the motion carried. Blood Bank Drive In Huntley
Aurora Area Blood Bank wiU be holding a blood drive on Tuesday, August 16, 1988, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Social Hall of the First Congregational Church.
The Aurora Area Blood Bank, operating since 1943, supplies blood products to 24 hospitals within an 11 county service area. Service is provided around the clock, 365 days a year. They process ahd distribute all products and provide many laboratory services.
The appeal for blood donations is made solely on the basis of providing a continuing and adequate supply of blood to meet the transfusion needs of patients.
Blood is provided for all residents of the region served without regard for the ability to pay or donate and without obligation to replace any blood used. Upon request.

Huntley's Undefeated Traveling Baseball Team
On Friday, July 22, the Traveling Team had their end of the season picnic at Deieke Park. A good time was had by all. Trophies were presented to the members of the team present.
