HEA GIVES LIBRARIES BOOKS EDUCATION WEEK

In observance of Americaa Education Week, the Huntley Education Associatioa gave a book to each of the Huntley District libraries. "Teachers are pleased to have this way of showing their support of reading and learaiag." HEA President Mrs. Martha La Loggia stated in presentiag Mrs. Shiriey WUUams, Gtade School Libtuiaa, with the book
"Aaae Frank: Young Girl."

ST. MARY'S CRAFT FAIR
St. Mary's Catholic Church held a Bazaar last Saturday, November 14. Featured at the Bazaar were many homemade art and craft hems and other goodies. The -bazaar waa held in the newly decorated Social Hall of the church. They hope to make this an annual event.

BENEFIT DANCE FOR RITA BALL
On November 29th a Beae& Dance will be held at the American Legicm at 5 pm for Rita (Ball) Soott. RiU ia suffering for Guillain Barre syndrome which effecta the nervous system aad apiae. Whe has been in Intensive Care fad six weeks. This is a kmg term <Useaae and reqnirea phyaical therapy and speedi dienipy after the patient haa reoovetod.

SENIOR CITIZEN CHRISTMAS PARTY
The Seaior Citizea Commua¬ ity Christmas party will be held on Thursday, December 17th at the American Legion Home. The Huntley Lioness Qub will sponsor the party this year and the Legion Auxiliary wiU serve the dinner. Reservatioas muat be in no later than December lOth. There will be no special cards sent out this year. All Senior Citizens in the entite Huntley area are invited to attend and participate. Dinaer will be served at aooa followed by entertainment for aB. For dinner reservations pleaae call 669-3175; 669-3102 or 669-5657 by December 10th.
