The Regular Meeting of the Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Huntley was held February 11,1988 in the Board Room of the Village Hall and called to order by President Dhamer at 8:00 p.m.
Roll noted the following present: President Dhamer, Trustees Wicke, Borowicz. Berlin and Greve with Trustees Brown and Basel absent. Also attending were Village Attorney Kukla, Police Chief Rossi and Building Inspector Spradlin. The first order of business was the presentation of the minutes of January 14, 1988. After review, there being no additions nor corrections, they stood approved as presented.
Financial Reports were next on the Agenda. Trustee Wicke made a motion to accept the Treasurer's Report as submitted, seconded by Trustee Greve, and upon roll
call, all trustees voted aye and the motion carried. The bills, upon review, were approved for payment by motion by Trustee Wicke, seconded by Trustee Berlin, and upon roll call, all trustees voted aye and the motion carried. A listing of said paid invoices is attached and made a part of these minutes.
Thc next matter to come before the Trustees was the approval for zoning change of the Sweeney property. Attorney Ralph Hardy on behalf of Richard and Beverly Sweeney gave a review of the request for zoning change of the property known as Lot 7 and Lot 10, 10908 and 10914 Vine Street in the village. He stated that the Planning and Zoning Commissions had recommended to the village Trustees to grant B-3 zoning
to the Sweeney's for both parcels. President Dhamer read both recommendations and in the Zoning Board of Appeals minutes, the Planning Commission had recommended to the Zoning Board of Appeals to zone all properties on either side of Route 47, B-3. It was noted that there were no objectors to the change in zoning of the Sweeney property. Trustee Wicke questioned regarding business interest in the property noting parking could be a problem but that this would be a planning matter. Trustee Greve mentioned that no one was saying that these lots were buildable for B-3. With this, Trustee Wicke made a motion to accept the recommendation of the Zoning Board of Appeals to grant B-3 from R-2 zoning to the two parcels known as Lot 7 and Continued on page 11
