Register to Vote
Only properly registered electors may vote at fcbe April 7th, Consolidated Election, as provided by the Permanent Registration of Electors Law of Illinois. Monday, March 2, 1987, is the last day to register to vote with deputy registrars, other than in the office of the County Clerk or municipal or township clerk.
The following persons are registrars and will assist you in registering to vote in the upcoming election. Their regular weekday hours are m follows:
Robin Brunschon - Grafton Township - office hours 9 to 3 (669-3383)
Roberta Staab - Village Hall - office hours 8:30 to 12:30 Monday - 8:30 to 3:80 Tuesday thru Friday - 8:30 to 12:30 Saturday (669-2341)
Louise Kreutzer - early evenings (669-5657)
There will be registrars at the Village Hall on Saturday February 28 from 9 to 1 for the convenience of those unable to register during the week.
Registered voters who have moved from one precinct to another within the county since last registered, MUST NOTIFY the County Clerk in writing by signing an appli¬ cation for change of residence or return your present voter's card to the County Clerk's Office speci¬ fying your new address, on or before March 9, 1987.
Voters who are registered in another county and are new residents of McHenry County MUST APPEAR before the County Clerk or in the office of municipal or township clerks to register in McHenry County on or before March 9, 19«7, or with a Deputy Registrar before March 2, 1987.

Redskins Advance ToSemi—Finals
Tuesday evening the 1987 boys basketball teamtook on the Hurricanes of Marian Central High school. The Game ended with Huntley winning thogh it was only by a two point margin. The result of winning this game is, that it allows our 'skins to advance to the semi-final game against the Harvard Hornets. This tournament is to determine the regional champion in single A High School Basketball. Huntley haa only suffered one defeat tkis entire year and we ask that as many people as possible would come out to Marian Central and cheer on our boys.
Lioness Club Team Awarded Trophy
The Feb. 19 meeting was opened with the pledge and a song, led by Lioness Mae Chesek. The secretary's report was read and ap¬ proved. Lioness Carolyn Holmes, Dist. 1-J, chairman presented trophies won at the 1-J Bowling Toumament held in Addison in January. There were approximately 2S0 teams of Lions and Lioness in competition for this event. High Game scratch:

Two Lioness, Karen Kohiey and Gwen Jensen, will be attending the Carmel Korn Seminar in South Elgin, March 5. It was voted to send gifts to the children at the Blind and Deaf School in Glen Ellyn. The Lioness voted to again help the Legion with their Birthday Party dinner.
There will be a Northern Division Lioness Seminar on Feb. 26, at Crystal View in Fox River Grove. Discussion was held on the town picnic. Cary Lioness will hold a Fashion Show at Hob Nob, on Mar. 11. Lioness Holmes gave us a run down on activities at the convention being held April 3 ic 4.
Next meeting is Mar. 18.
Board of Education Meeting Mintues
The regular meeting of the Board of Education of School District #158, Huntley, Illinois was held in the High School building on January 22, 1987 at 7:30p.m.
The meeting wa« called to order by the President at 7:46p.m. Upon roll call the foUowing members answered present: Mrs. McDonald, Mrs. Schadt, Mr. Heavey, Mr. Greve, Mr. Miller and Mr. Bauman. Absent: Mr. Freeberg. All present joined in the pledge to the flag.
1. Mrs. Schadt moved, Mr. Greve 2nd., to appprove the minutes of the December 18 regular meeting as written.

2. Mrs. McDonald moved, Mr. Heavey 2nd., to accept the proposal from Matrix Computer
Systems to provide a long range computer plan for District 158.
