JAYCEES HOLD SAND GIVEAWAY
Last Sunday the Huntley Area Jayceea held their Free sand giveaway. Th6 Hiuntley Jaycees flOed 30 sandboxes using two truckloads of sand. The Jaycees wish to thank Tinter B«Uey for the use of the truck and the sand. This is an«Mher one of ttae Jaycees worthwhile event. A circus is planned in The. aear future and they will have a dunk tank at Sidewalk Day August Hth.

Tickets are now available for the Spaghetti Dinner and Variety Show "Tum Your Radio On" to be presented by the First Congregational Church on June 18 at 6:30 p.m. and June 19 at 5:30 and 8:00 p.m. The reserved seat tickets are SS.OO for adults and S3.00 for children under 12, and may be purchased by caliing 669^5522. No tickets will be sold at the door.
MISS HUNTLEY CONTEST
On May 27, 1982 Miss Huntley will be Choosen from anx)ng these four carKiidates. The public is invited to attend this event at 7:30 p.m. at the Annerican Legion Honne.
LIFESAVING CLASS
Huntley Park District is sponsoring swimming lessons again this year. Among the lessons offered is a Sr. Lifesaving Class. This class is for anyone who has completed Swimmers & is IS years of age or over, including adults. If you have already passed the course.

The Annual HuQtley High Scfaool Honors Nigfat was beld last Tuesday, Mey 18,1982 at ttae Grade Schotri Gym. ParenU, teachers and students enjoyed « pot luck dinner.
Dr. Bunt welcomed the crowd and gave the invocatioD. Joe
Manning was the MC for the evening. Christine Reid was the guest
speaker. She stated that all the students have a reason to be proud
of the goals which they have acoom(riished and quoted the poem
"Aim for the Sky."
Receiving perfect attendance awards were:
1 Year - Val Bunt, Joe Korotasz, and Brett Pierce Second Year - Dave Plote
