UONS & UONESS CLUB INSTAUATION Last Saturday, May 9th, a large crowd of Lions and Lionesses attended the installation of the new club ofTicers at the Legion Home. A dinner of ham and chicken was served. VILLAGE BOARD MEETING MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES The first meeting of the 1981-1982 flscal year was held on May 7. 1981 at 8:00 P.M. in the Board room of the Village Hall and brought to order by President Enstrom. Roll noted the following present: President Enatrom, Trustees Stroupe, Wicke. Rud¬ sinski, Dhamer, Lamb and Mercer, as well as Village Engineer Schwegel, Attomey Szura and Members of the Public Works Department. The minutes from the follow¬ ing meetings were brought before the Board for approval: April 2, 1981 Special Meeting for Federal Revenue Sharing Funds; April 2nd Regular Meeting; April 10th Special Meeting for the Canvas of the election; and the April 30th Annual Meeting. Programming can be seen on UCTV's Channel 21 and consists of tomado safety programming, the 1980 Found¬ ers Day Parade and the Carpentersville Jaycee Easter Egg Hunt. Chairman of this year's Memorial Day observance is Robert Schultz, who outlined some of the details of the Post's Memorial Day ceremonies.
