JAYCEES PUT UP DECORATIONS
Pictured above is Mr. K,P. Bakley and members of his firm at a ^Rvundbreaking ceremony last Tuesday at the Huntley Center. The new addition to the center will enlarge the center with a building 120 feet by 55 feet. The groundbreaking was held in zero ten^)erature and the large steam shovel broke ground through 18 inches of frost.

1977 Vehicle Tags are now on sale in the Village Hall Monday thru Friday from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.

it's almost that time again for Santa's Fund Senior Citizens Christmas Party.
This year the party will be held Thursday, Dec. 16th at the Social Hall of the 1st Congregational Church.
Everthing will be furnished just bring yourself and remind all senior citizens who have not joined in before. Dinner will be served at 12:30 pm followed by Santa's visit ami entertainment by the Huntley Jigh Chorus and Santa's Fund specials,

SANTA'S FUND CHRISTMAS PARTY
Santa's fund is making the final plans for Huntley's 4th annual kids Christmas Party on Dec, 18th at 1:00 pm,
For the benefit of those who are new in Huntley, the Christmas Party, Easter Egge Hunt and Halloween Party held for all Huntley young ones is sponsored by all our Huntley Business peopte and friends who donate annually toward the events.
We should all be proud of our Huntley Merchants and friends as without their generosity Huntley; would have no parties for our children and Senior Citizens too.
We three from Santa's Fund would like at this time to say "Thank You" to all who contribu¬ ted .
We're starting the 4th year of Santa'ik Fund and the parties have been well attended by the young people and parents as well.
Let's all keep together and enjoy many more parties,

CHRISTMAS CONCERT AT CONGREGAnONAL CHURCH
The Congregational Church would like to invite the public to their annual Christmas concert Sunday, Dec. Sth at 7:30 pm. The Carol choir under the direction of Mrs. Prudy Cole and Mrs. Shelby Hill will sing "Away in a Manag¬ er" and "The Friendly Beast." The Chapel Handbell choir and chorus.wiU perform several selec¬ tions under the direction of Mrs. Mary Lou Hardy, Wendy Stewart
and Cheryl Schuld will accompa¬ ny them on the bells and flute. The Chancel choir jj^ili sfaig some of your otd' Chftstmas favaftttes^^
such as "Do You Hear What I Hear". "Drummer Boy", and "The Holly and the Ivy." They will also play a medley on the handbells.
Mr, William Leggee will solo "O Holy Night." Besides directi¬ ng the chancel choir he will direct the massed chorus in *' How Far Is h to Bethlehem?". " The Snow Lay on the Ground", and "On Christmas Night,"
Soloists from the choirs will l)e Sue Schaller, Cheryl Schuld, Ed Bradwein and Shelby Hill, Mrs. Helen Marlowe will accompany the choirs.
The concert will close with a candlelighting ceremony sung to "Silent Night." There will be no admission but a free-will offering will be taken.
The CELAS invite everyone to refreshments in the social hall following the concert. Come join the choir and start the Christmas season in a joyful holiday mood.

The regular meeting of the , Board of Education of School District 158 of the Huntley Conso¬ lidated School, Huntley Illinois was held in the High School Building on November 15,1976 at 8:10 pm.
Upon .coll call the foHowing answered present Mrs. Livingst¬ on. Mr. Zirk, Mr. Ruth, Mr. BrcttscHiteider and Mr. Stading. Mrs. Simpfen'ind Mr. Ziller absent.
A motion made by Mr. Ruth and 2nd by Mrs. Livingston to appoint Mr. Brettschneider as President Pro-tem for the evening

S^The Huntley Area Jaycees decorated the VUlage Main Street last Saturday A. Sunday fron Myrtle Street to Bonnie Brae. This is the second year that the dub hss decorated the town.
Last year they struag pennanent wires and affixed Santa Clauses and snowmen to the tight polls on Maia Street ftx>m Myrtle west to the railroad tra«±s. "Die dub had hoped to decorate Woodstodt Street in front of tfie post office and Church Street in front of the Congregational snd Lathefan Churches.
