A motion was made by Trutoe Frank, seoonded by Trustee Egae-s, to approve of te minutes as presented, and upon roll call, all tnji?tfes present voted ayp snd the motion carried.

The Treawrer's Report was the next ondrr of biifinsss. After a dis¬ cussion of this and the montiily nianagevial revert, the clerk wa^s instru.-ted to have the treasirer transfer the street salaries for the past fciir months (Jan., Feb., Mar., and Apr.) to tho Road and Biidge Fund salaries. A motion was made by Trustee Eggers, seconded by Trustee Frank, to approve (Jie Treasurer's Report as read and upon roll oall, aB pireseint voted aye and the mcition carried.
TTie P.nesider^ then called on Mrs. Hedy Leonard, who is in charge of the Bicertennial Celebration to be held in 1976. Sio gave the Board a summary on her commltleels activities, and istated that Loiuse Kreuitzer wiis Chairman of the Huntley Birthday Committee, wiw also informed the Board of her work. Mrs. Leonard explained the reason that she was tliere was that she would need to know tte Board's intentions as to what they would give toward this celebration. Village Board
An open hou.sc was held at the new Huntley Ace Hardware in the Huntley Center at R->ute 47. The celebration was to show the new stC're to employees of Aoe Hard¬ ware in Elgin, Dundee and Village officials and to honor employees of the Bakley Construction com¬ pany, who had worked on the new building. The lease was signed by Mr. Zeigler wth Mr. Kenneth Bakley, owner cf he shopping cen¬ ter on February 27th. Although the firm does not plan to have its formal cq>ening until sometime in May, the store wili be open for business as soon as it is stocked and the parking lot is completed.
The new Huntley store will re¬ semble the iteigler's Ace Hardware stores in Elgin and Dundee. There will be nine separate departments in the store: paint, tools, electric, hardware, hooisewares, gifts - ap¬ pliances, lawn and garden and ru¬ ral, sporting goods, toys. The new store boasts 12.800 sq. ft. of Space and has been described as an ultra- modem hardware store.
The Zeigler family has been in hardware business continuounsly in Elgin 'Since 1930, when Mr. Lyle Zeigler opened his stone in the downtown aroa. This Mr. Zeigler had worked in his father's hardware store in Elgin in 1890 and had worked for Van Camp Hardware as a salfsman in the early years of his tdult life. In 1934, the com pany became an Ace HaTdwar. 5tc:-o and has rimained such since that date.

3 Election This Week
Three elections will be held in Huntley this week at the Village Hall. The first is this Saturday, April 12th and is for 2 members to serve on the Hantiey Sohool Board for 3 yrs. Polls are open to 12 noon to 7 p.m. Those seeking election are Barbara H. Smpson, Daniel ZitleTfc and Raymond Cole.
On Tuesday, April 15th two elec¬ tions will be held at the Village Hall with the polls being open from 6 ajn. to 6 p.m. There are 2 posi¬ tions open for Park Comnussioner on a 6 yr. term. Candidates for this position are John Tures, Paul Mer¬ cer and William Ruth. There is Conthiued on Page Two
