State Bank Groundbreaking
Last Monday, June 7th a groundbreaking cercrticniy was held at the new site of the S'atc Bank of Huntley, off Route 47 and the H.untley Al- gonqiiin Blacktop. Wayne Mil¬ ler, president of the bar.lk was the M.C. for the ceremonies. He thanked all cf the buslne?* men a.".d wives for honoring them with their presence- Mr. Miller then intix>duced Father L. D. Day, who led the groulp in prater. Father Day said that the .secret r.f success in Hunit¬ ley was that the whole town locked arm* and extended a helping hand in a spirit of co¬ operation, !cve and friendship.

At this proint in the cercmcny Mr. McCredie wa's honored and the history of the bank was told. Mr. Miller stated that the actual digging- and construc¬ tion will not take place for 60 days, bLt that it is fiiMin.g to start in this Bicentennial year. Mayor Enstrom was the first to try to sipeed up construction with his large shovelful ctf dirt. Following the Mayor, Henry Marlowe, Earl Henneman, Roy Bankes, Wayne Miller, WilpauU Brill, Louis Van Aoker and Hen¬ ry wells all turned eath.
Following the groundbreakinig ceremony a lunch was served at Pinecre'it Country Oluib for all in atter.tJance. Rev. Dr. Fred Harm gave tho lunr.heon bless¬ ing, saying that God was the give;- of the perfect gift, love, and that we should thank h«n for this t'-ft. He also staited that we .should dccronstrate our thanks and asked a special blessittjj for the bark's new en¬ deavor. Wayne Miller, thei\, thanked Herb and June Jack- ish for the good lunch which they had prepared.

Indecent Exposure and Burglary at Hoist Residence
On June 7th at approximate ly 8 p.m. Officer Donald Thom¬ as received a call from Rioh¬ ard Hoist to come to the Hoist home on Algonquin Rd. While he was on the way, a hurry up call came through. Mrs. Hoist met Officer Thomas in the driveway and explained that her husband was guarding their home and that the subject was inside. Officer "I>omas report¬ ed that Donald Hoist was watching the rear of the house with a shotgun in his hands.
Mr. Hoist stated that a Ne¬ gro male came driving up the road fast and recklessly to¬ wards the hoose in a dark blue Ford. The subject then got out of his car and ran in the house. Mr. Heist stated that he fired one shot into the air and toH
